As for personal awesome, well I nudged Mulan through a bit of side canon and then got sick.

Since I've been sick, I've watched all the available episodes of Almost Human (why must the pilot be locked down?), started Ultimate Spider-Man (teen Danny Rand is the cutest) and finally started watching Firefly (LOVE IT! Especially Zoe and Wash).

How have you not watched Firefly before now?? I've always thought that watching it was a prerequisite if you want to call yourself a geek. ;D

I don't know how I got away with it. I even own the DVD and watched the pilot and the train robbery episode but then never went back. So glad I did.

Teen Danny Rand causes a mental disconnect in me, mostly because the voice actor also does Michelangelo for the current TMNT cartoon. I keep expecting Iron Fist to shout "Booyahshaka!" when he attacks.

I updated my resume, finished my holiday shopping though haven't sent out any of the presents or cards I mean to. I hope to get them out tomorrow. This week I was able to help at storytime at the library which was wonderful and had a lot of fun threads. And I renewed my ALA membership and figured out going to the Midwinter conference in Philly at the end of January. I got stuck a lot in my head in November but finally feel more hopeful, there is a job out there for me.

Charles gave poor Simmons a scare but her attitude annoyed him. I look forward to the fallout of this. He also met Jason Todd and had a wonderful talk. I hope to have more threads with Jay and my various characters.

William and Almanzo finally met and I like them. They're from about the same time but rather different parts of the US.

Will and Nat are being fascinating. They're both such cynics and of their time and place. I also wrote another OOM for his plot.

I know I have other threads as I've been doing a lot of tagging out this week but these are the ones that I enjoyed a lot.
