Happy Milliversary to Me
I made my first EP in Milliways two years ago today. I was guided here by TV Tropes's link to Cam's Gordon Freeman journal. Being entirely unfamiliar with the whole LJ roleplaying thing, I was completely baffled by this Milliways thing that kept popping up.
I found the idea a little weird, to be honest. But eventually, the idea came to me to that I might possibly apply to join this community. I was deeply intimidated by the prospect - again, I didn't even really know how any of this worked. I had never done anything like this before, and 2011/2012 was a very busy time for me. But before Cam even had the chance to respond to the nervous e-mail I sent in inquiry, I decided to go ahead and do it anyway, regardless of whether it was a good idea or not. And as my inaugural pup, I chose the Waco Kid from Blazing Saddles, in a fit of sudden inspiration.
Sometimes I'm still not sure if I know what I'm doing. But I certainly can't say the last two years haven't been an awful lot of fun. I don't regret a second of the past two years I've spent with you fine folks, in RP and in crackchat. Here's to many more of them, for as long as this place lasts.
