My Little Lady was here to visit me; we watched tons of movies, laughed a lot, and today she left again.
Finally installing Windows 8 on my main computer -- is an endeavour taking several days, but the thing is amazingly fast now, and I have gained a lot of HD space. The original Windows 7 installation on that computer cane with a metric shitton of crap, including McAfee, which behaved like a virus itself and forced a system restore after trying to deinstall it. Now, I am copying my data back from the external HD I borrowed from Falk the Metropolitan, running updates and all that jazz, before tomorrow will then bring the final update to Windows 8.1 and the installation of the applications I need, like OO.o and paint.net.
I'm having an okay start to the New Year, tired and working to do more jobwise. I'm getting ready to app my newest pup, vorpatril and just do more. The snow has melted a lot here as the cold didn't stay for too long.
My RP has mainly been tagging out and wrapping various things up.
I thought I would never get a specific one of these OOMs done because of other diversions, but a sudden fit of inspiration hit me and I set aside a day, ignored the other diversion, and wrote that OOM and tacked on four others.
