Weekend Entertainment Part Two: Plots Ahoy!

As the second part to Pre-Application Weekend, in this shiny post, I bring you plot persuasion!

Do you have a plot that you'd like to noodle out? Is your character going on an Epic Quest and you need some friends to help? Would you like to run a plot and need some people to make it awesome?

That's what this post is for. Noodle out plot, tell people you're up for plot, and just generally plot and scheme like a B-movie villain.

Note: If someone else wants to do something with/make an app_this_plz ad, please go right ahead. I'm not familiar with the community at all. I can, however, run Milliside stuff!

I actually have plots! What I lack is time and focus. =(

I still want to do the raid on a HYDRA base with Jessica Drew and I have now decided Quinlan Vos' life is too calm and he needs some confrontations with bounty hunters to spice things up. I also have plans to bring Brimstone's wish peddling to Milliways but I'd need to actually EP him in beyond his first Ep for that to happen.

So I am looking for ideas for one last epic adventure for Jim Kirk. I plan to retire him at the end of the year, and he deserves something big before being left to die in Generations (one great scene with him and Picard, and a lot of nothing else). Anyone have anything to offer?

Enjolras has been out on an OOM plot for a bit and will be for a bit longer, but in the meantime, I would really like to find him a job! The fact that he doesn't have one yet is all his mun's fault for flaking out on finding him one, not his for not looking for one. He doesn't mind charity when it's necessary, but hanging out for months not bothering to work is an entirely different matter.

Is anyone looking for someone to hire, ICly?

Things he can do:
- care for and ride horses (although probably not much in the way of training)
- anything manual that can be easily taught
- ...Tutor, maybe? Or edit or something? He's got a classical education of early 19th century France, which means he can read and write Latin and at least some Greek, he knows rhetoric and such, he's got a decent grounding in Catholicism even though he isn't personally much of a believer, and he knows French history (especially of the 1700s and early 1800s) like the back of his hand. He was a legal student, but I dunno how much use a solid grounding in 1830s French law is going to do anyone. He could help an advanced student of French get better at speaking like a (19th century) native speaker, although he wouldn't be much good at teaching the basics because he only knows French and dead languages.
- He knows canne de combat (singlestick, stick/cane fighting) and savate (19th century French kickboxing, basically). (He's also got a very good knowledge of urban warfare using black-powder weapons, but he is not talking insurrection tactics with you unless he's very sure of your context and your allegiances.)
- I dunno, guys, I suspect manual labor is going to be the way to go, but if you have other ideas, please sing out! He might have relevant skills despite being, uh, a fairly specifically focused bourgeois guy of a time period that's outdated for a lot of Bar folks.
