Ellen had a thread with Javert; it wasn't much, but she did get to let him know that the Bar wasn't as Godforsaken as he'd thought, and in the end she actually got him to smile. That's something of an accomplishment.

Also, Edward Kenway did some bartending and had quite a lovely thread with Sunshine, as well as the very start of one with his eventual grandson. I'm looking forward to doing more with that.

Dude. You have no idea how hard I grinned at the screen when that happened. For the last couple of days I've been exulting HE LIKES SOMEONE! in my head, and cackling to myself in glee.

I mean, there are any number of arbitrary ways in which he could start being indifferent to her again, but I am still chuffed to bits that happened. :D

Actually, though, this was the week I got my butt back in gear, RP wise. Stiles had his first EP in ages and got to talk to some old and new acquaintances about thing like pizza, werewolves, and his fear of disembowelment. Plus he caught up with Joshua and attempted to flirt with the hot bartender. *laughs all the way home cause their PBs are actually dating IRL*

At the end of the week I had an orientation and an interview for two PT jobs, so hopefully I will be working soon, yay!

The Nazgul made yet another pie from Sunshine's list -- which looks different, but is deliccious.

In RP, we finished the thread with Teja and Pyrrha!Loki from Christmas eve, and several of my charries pestered Javert in his EP -- Hannibal gave him books, then Teja liked his drawings and Katrina went all religious. The last one is still ongoing. Before that, Teja had told Jean Valjean that he suspected Javert is building a chapel, much to Valjean's relief.

How did the maple tart with pears turn out? :D

It was delightful! This one, though, turned out too soggy -- the Nazgul thinks she should have used gelatine, not just starch as the recipe demands, to make sure the juice goes gooey enough.

Was it the Ginger-Pear Galette? Rustic Pear Tart with saffron pastry? Apple-Pear Praline Pie? Dried Pear and Chocolate-Caramel Tart? Thos are the only other ones with pears in them.

I had a load of fun with Javert's EP - some threads still in progress - because ;ldkfj he found someone he actually likes! And then he met a purple pony who talked about God to him (and has just started singing ahahaha :D), and many other people have many interesting things to say about his plans, and he is also being a jerk to a lady cop. All in all, smashing. Love you guys. :D

But my main source of Happy was getting off my arse and taking a glance behind Valjean's curtain for a change - because hey, the man presents a good face, but he's a hot mess of all sorts of crap underneath it. So that was fun to write.

Finally moving Mark on to his Mars mission, which is a nice story that sets up a few things later on. Also, why is it still snowing?! Someone please make it stop snowing!

EDIT: Seriously, it's warmer in Anchorage, Alaska, than it is in West Virginia!

It was fun.

Also I tagged my slowtimes and planned to bring my semi-new pup in this weekend, but that was complete crazy talk so she'll be in tomorrow. :)

I've been WORKING :O :D :D :D. Which means I've been terrible about tagging. (Ashie just reminded me that you noted May's EP awhile ago so THANK YOU I will go over there and say so. /hugs.)

Thankfully everyone's being super sweet about it, and Ro keeps kicking me any time I am all "oh no i'm being stupid it's stupid to be so excited about working ten hours/week". Ro's kicks are very helpful.
