Daily Entertainment: Memory Edition
This blankety-blank snow is getting really old, dear Milliways. I would really like to get some work done at work.
For Daily Entertainment today, we have:
Memories! What is one memory that your character has, canon, milli-canon, or headcanon, that they will absolutely never forget?

Dani and he declaring their love on a beach in Chile at sunset. :-)

As for Fairy Fixit, having to work through and in close proximity to the first battle of the new God Wars is going to stick in her memory in a very bad way. :(

Knox: Canon: the first time he understood that Batman was real; millicanon: the day he met Rapunzel.
Cyborg: The day he met the other Titans and started living again. And the battle against Trigon.
Howard: Nothing yet. Ask me in a year if there is indeed an Agent Carter series.
Charlie: His deaths. And his last night with Myra Fermin.
Gibbs: Must be the day he met Jack, though I have no idea how that went.

(Canonically, Carol has recently lost all her memories. For the second time.)

Shephard: The fact that the National Guardsman who pulled him and his buddy Caleb out of the flooding Cheat when they were both six was pudgy and had a lot of nose hair. (Speaking as someone who was pulled out of an undertow at Jones Beach when she was nine, you remember the oddest things about times of trauma.)
Ellen: Meeting Paladin Hoss. Alternatively: meeting Dogmeat.
Medic: The first time he staggered out of one of Herr Engineer's respawners.
Stacker: The intrinsic gray that flooded the Drift when his partner Tamsin blacked out at Coyote Tango's controls.
Varric: The noises Bianca makes when being loaded and prepped for firing.
Santo: Getting thrown, harder than he thought possible, early in his wrestling career; that memory taught him never to underestimate any opponent.
Mordin: ANYTHING. Salarians don't forget anything. They don't do full immersion moment recalls like the drell do, but salarians don't forget things.
Edward: The moment a certain red-headed woman two years older than him rode up and intervened in a tavern brawl between him and three other men; they wound up getting married some time later.
no subject
Charles: First time he fell into a dream and meeting Raven and later Erik.
Ivan: Being trapped in the pipe in London.
Moist: The blood when Urquhart was decapitated in front of him, he would like to never go through anything like that again.
Sameth: When the sword he crafted held back the Destroyer.
Jane: Seeing all of her possible futures with Tom disappear and kissing him for the first time.
William: His father's death.
Demeter: The first Spring that Kore came back.
Tumnus: Feeling Aslan's breath on his face.
The Pirate King: When he first found his way to his ship.
no subject
Sam: being depowered. NOT FUN.
Claudia: Joshua disappearing; getting him out of the interdimensional space; the 'so this is it, we're going to die' portion of the Allpocalypse.
Apollo: the people who've really meant something to him over the millennia, particularly Chaucer's mum.
Imp: music with rocks in it... now that he remembers it.
Regulus: his mother's reaction to Sirius going into Gryffindor.
Red: seeing what was left of Peter. (You know, when there's not a curse interfering with that.)
Woolly: finding out Helena was bronzed.

Yeah, Nat's already had her memory wiped once. Unfortunately, she lives in that kind of world.

River: Doesn't forget much of anything, including things she would like to. Uhhh. Realizing she was with Simon after being rescued from the Academy; getting her first pair of toe shoes; flying with Crowley.
Regan: Her wedding day. Seeing each of her children for the first time. Pressing the number to report Gabriel. The first time she jumped a course cleanly on horseback and really felt she'd done everything right.
Thor: Watching Loki plummet.
Clare: Teresa's death. (Teresa's affection.)
Trowa: Refuses to answer this or to pick one, because Trowa has canonically had total amnesia and really did not do well with it. He wants to keep all his memories. That was important to him as a control freak with a very unstable childhood long before the amnesia thing.
Enjolras: Uh. Well, basically everything that went down at the barricade, but especially the deaths of everyone he knew personally. Also, the sensory memory of pulling the trigger on the guy he executed. In happier news, the feeling of having his whole world open up the first time he read The Social Contract, or whatever the first treatise of that type he read -- in my headcanon he was raised with a lot of that in the family thinking anyway, but it's different to read it yourself.

Dixie: Canonically: most of her childhood, TBH; being with Brisco on that express train back to San Francisco; In Milliways: Comforting Kate, particularly their very first bonding over their menfolk in the library; making out with Brisco in the hayloft at the barn raising party.
Juliet Canonically: Kissing Shawn on that pier; everything to do with Yin and the kidnapping (unfortunately); Milliways: the zombie invasion.
Eponine: Canonically: Figuring out that her parents do not necessarily adore her as much as they did, combined with the crushing disappointment of realizing that Marius doesn't love her; Milliways: Simply discovering the rich bounty of the place; her discussion with Val Jean; seeing her brother aged and so well off.
Pinkie: Canonically: the first time she realized her destiny and gave a party; realizing her friends really DO love her; Milliways; fooling about with the Fool, all of the many, many tendings she's done; her friendship with Tommy.

Carlton: making detective.
