A pup FYI for once

As a possible adventure hook for pups, Brimstone here will soon be bringing his trade to Milliways. What's his trade you may ask (as if his user name isn't enough of a clue)? He trades teeth for wishes. His wishes come in several denominations (which can be found here in addition to rules of the wishes) and at this point he will likely stick with animal teeth, though there may come a time when teeth from sentient species can be traded.

I bring this up in case anyone has concerns for how I have defined the wishes, the rules for these wishes, and how they can work within Milliways. Feel free to leave any questions here or in the linked entry. He likely won't be selling until after Mardi Gras.

ETA: He normally trades in teeth as rare items don't really exist in his world's Earth. He is open to negotiation for such items if they are presented to him as payment.

Also, for those who signed up for the HYDRA base raid with Spider-Woman, I must apologize. Life and my creative drive got away from me and so I am putting the plot on hold. I will make an announcement when I am ready to try it again and you guys get the first seats available if you are still interested.

How would Brimstone feel about trading in baby teeth that fell out naturally? I ask because I've Millicanoned that Twilight has been playing tooth fairy for her dragon assistant Spike and has several of his baby teeth stashed away someplace.

Oh tough call. First instinct is they wouldn't be much value as magic is fueled by pain in his world; buuuut teeth coming from a magical creature would be very valuable and unique. I'd say we could work something out at least up to a lucknow (i.e. a 3 dot wish).

Would teeth gathered from already-dead things have any value? Gavroche isn't going to inflict pain on something for his own benefit, but he wouldn't be above doing that. It's a kind of recycling!

Grave robbing and museum thievery are both accepted means of getting teeth to trade in canon, so I think you are good; at least up to a lucknow. The next level wish would need to be something really rare and the final level has to be your own teeth or something truly unique, like excalibur.

Hypothetical question - If Vyv was to knock out his own teeth, they would grow back the next time he changed scene. Would his knocked out teeth still count?

Oh damn that's a tough one. He is sacrificing something but not as much as would be normal, so perhaps he'd get scuppies or shings? I can see him getting away with a shing or a lucknow the first time but after that, I think Brimstone would get wise to him.

Another way to think of it, would the teeth still have any of his essence to them? Say bits of DNA or the metaphysical equivalent?

He may well get the idea of knocking out other people's teeth...

Sadly, in canon, Brimstone has dealt with those who did worse than what Vyvyan might do.
