Inspired by the fact that I found three expired bus tickets in my purse:
Collecting! Is there something that your character has a collection of? Is it a conscious collection, or something that they just end up with a million of hanging around?

Kirk: Noted antiques collector, as seen in Star Trek II. With a preference for first edition books, nautical items, and relics of the 19th century. Lord knows where he keeps it, since I imagine his apartment is pretty small.
Cy: He's got a small but possibly valuable collection of vintage engine parts that he tries to incorporate into the T-Car just because. And he's accidentally collected napkins and placemats from every takeout place in Jump City.
Howard: Somewhere at one of Stark Industries's airfields, he's got one of America's largest collection of 1920s aircraft. Hopes to donate it to a museum at some point.
Charlie: Not any more, but he used to collect theories about conspiracy theorists. Boxes of evidence about "evidence." He's very much like Sherlock on Elementary in that way.

Okay. I LOLed. Also, hi!

Either way, very glad that Ms. Walters is coming back to the Bar at the exact moment I am actually buying her new comic.

Fairy Fixit has a collection of teeth. Plain ones, objects d'art, and failed components of teleportation systems that she swears she'll get to some day.
Evil Chicken, I almost forgot, has a treasure hoard up in his rented Milliways room, which includes a pile of apples from Jack in the Green's anti-poison tree. Amascut has a small pile of those apples too, but her abandoned T-Minus client is chewing its way through that slowly.

None of my others do. Bruce Wayne has a lot of Bat things, but that's work. All the others either eschew possessions (J and VJ), or are constantly travelling/have no fixed abode (Robin and BB).

Well, ONE of your others has a collection...no subject
ly weirdshrine to Cosette in his secret trunk. And also a large collection of buried banknotes. I guess that counts? :Dno subject

(...Courfeyrac has a large collection of DEAD FRIENDS.
And occasionally a drippy, absent-minded Pontmercy. :D?)

HEE HEE HEE
Yes, I was thinking of Courfeyrac's "collection," although he also has DEAD FRIENDS AND AN ACCESSORY PONTMERCY. Pontmercy is constant comedy, and he's guaranteed to set off any fashionable outfit by contrast!

X-23 collects gifts from friends. And photographs, I think.
Nynaeve collects herbs and healing supplies.
Michael the Archangel collects T-shirts with words on them.
Galadan collects andain.
Sam Tyler collects neuroses!
Dean Winchester collects guns and other weapons, and porn.
Wonder Woman is not much of a collector, except of languages, I guess. And also civilian clothes.

Fluttershy, at least in comics continuity, has a seriously impressive stash of yarn.

... look, you never know when you're going to need spare parts, and Lucky Harith only comes to town every so often.
Also she has a small but respectable comic book and comic book fragment collection. The Brotherhood gets everything else she finds out in the Wastes, reading-wise, but she keeps the comics when she finds them, and makes copies for the Citadel.

Clare: No. She barely has possessions. (Spoiler, however: Eventually, you could say other people's body parts and powers! Uh, incorporated into her own, not in a serial killer locker or something.)
River: Gifts and letters and keepsakes her friends have given her. That's probably it, unless you count fluttery skirts; I don't really, because she doesn't collect more than she needs for a reasonable wardrobe.
Regan: There's probably some kind of specific art thing or two that she really likes, although it's more of a collection of "pieces I really like of this kind of thing" than a broad "any decent examples I find" thing. Pictures of her children, especially now.
Trowa: Information. Uh, for physical objects, no; Trowa makes an effort to live simply so far as that's concerned, and he's never really shed the mindset of having to be able to leave everything at a moment's notice.
Thor: I'll have to ponder him. I'm not sure. If he wanted to he'd certainly have the means to do so.
Enjolras: Not in a conscious collection way, but he probably has a quietly cherished few of the kind of Revolutionary trinket mementos that were still kicking around 40 years later. Also, books. And he is absolutely the kind of person who will earnestly keep whatever a friend gives him as a present, even if it's a gag gift or something he doesn't entirely understand the appeal of.

So, yeah, they mean that his Milliways room is less of a home than it might be if he had all his own stuff around it, I guess, but it's not a big deal. It's the people he misses, and the work he chafes without having; he has his ideals and his memories, with or without the tangible symbols of them. And he does have at least one tangible symbol, anyway -- there are multiple reasons why he never takes that cockade off.

Any other weapons he does acquire, though -- because they were gifts, because they were inheritances, because he had specific cause to need this or that weapon instead of a magic hammer -- he absolutely does keep in a room with honor, yeah. What I'm not sure of is how numerous those are. (Certainly the supersledge Ellen Park gave him counts as one.)
Trophies... you are probably not wrong there. >.>

Jessica Drew: Bad life decisions. On a more positive note, restaurants! Girl loves her food.
Anton: Another that collects music, though his is on mini-disc and not vinyl like Hank.

You just made me snort with laughter.

As evidence, I present a panel from the latest Captain Marvel (medium sized image on Tumblr behind the link). Oh hey, did you know we have Carol in bar now? Also, if you haven't been reading her comic, you must pick it up.

And that panel of Jess and the cake made me snort in laughter again. What issue of what is t hat from?

If you want a peek at the writing, check out Jess's most recent OOMs (here's the first and the second) which were taken from issues 09-11, Kelly Sue's first story arc.
(Being lazy and not logging out of another pup journal.)

Poor Jess. We need to get her and Shulkie together in the bar. Stat.

Funny enough, I just EP'd Jess with a copy of the Daily Bugle featuring a picture of Stark and Hulk naked on the front page. (Likely to be slow if you tag though. I'm juggling a lot but if I don't throw things up, I never post. FYI, in Bar I haven't gotten Jess to where she and Clint breakup yet.)

Sunshine has a vast collection of old vampire novels, including some rather rare finds she's been able to pick up over the years. Not one of them, however, is a vampire romance novel. Those are illegal, not to mention stomach-turning. She also has ended up with a large collection of random charms, given to her by her mother, who worries about her.
no subject
She also collects the files of every case that she's won. The ones that meant something to her personally or where a miscarriage of justice wea righted. Those are the ones she keepss.
Finally. purple things. People give her purple things. She saves them. One of them is a purple Audi = that one she drives.

Also I think he would've amassed a collection of patches and t-shirts from different firehouses. It's not necessarily as a thing that he consciously does, but just the sort of thing that happens among firefighter friends and family.

Dixie: Collects diamonds, baby.
Pinkie Pie: Collects cookie cutters and pictures to scrapbook with.
Juliet: Has a matchbook collection.
Eponine: Noo money, no collection.
