Yesterday, even though it drained out my bank account and revealed how poorly I had put my trust in the carpentry of a neighbor, I got moved the HELL ASS OUT of a bad situation.
Today, my body is refusing anything beyond a mild walking pace, but hell my worst hurdle is over. Thus I have been sewing.
Tomorrow I aim for the kneecaps of why I haven't gotten my inheritance and the DMV.
So you know how a couple weeks ago Woolly and Javert discussed, among other things, the merits of sobriety?
The week after that was Purim, part of which includes getting drunk. You can imagine how well that went. (Though it was surprisingly okay in the middle there...)
Also and elsegame, the thing Quinn and I have been helping set up is still in test-drive mode. We've lured Cati over. Jooooin usssssss. (We will of course still be here!)
I've honestly had a weird week but a good one. Two schools out of the blue wanted to do phone interviews with me and one is flying me out to LA for an in-person interview in April. Also my fact-checking job is fun, people pay me to research and I'm learning so much.
My RP has been a mix of mainly Charles and Ivan with some William thrown in. I'm going to hit the highlights.
Oswin and Ivan are the best, she's such a match for him and pulling characters in while half-asleep maybe cheating or something but its fun.
Charles got an EP which is still open and my favorite thread is Jay and Charles. Their friendship is pointy and complicated and I love it, OOM forthcoming.
I love Inspector Detector, this thread is with William and wonderful. He makes me want to watch Speed Racer.
One last thread that made me laugh more than I should have, Moist tries to pick up David Woollcott, and I'm spelling his name wrong. Either way, this is why Moist is fun, he's awful and charming and fun.
Teja and Pyrrha hosted a spring party -- still open if you feel like it!
Also, Father Harman is all over the place, putting things together. I've got a feeling he's here to stay, on a level with Teja or Hannibal (or the level Asar-Suti or Urquhart had before I retired them). I enjoy him a great lot.
I'm getting ready to do post-canon plot with him, like you've done with Carlotta and Guppy? I might even put out a call to the Brit-muns who know the canon to play characters in OOMs for that. I already have some ideas for a plot arc.

She's never been very big on fuss and bother anyway.

Scantily-clad Loki tries to kill a training dummy with a zweihander. Amascut tries to cause an accident and double entendres ensue.
And for cute Lucas finds someone who isn't put off by the Dark Dragon, thanks to a fairy's years of customer service and sensitivity training. Haha.

Hannibal, in the meanwhile, is in New Orleans with Yrael.
