Bring Your OC/NPC To Bar Day!
A great idea from
yakalskovich :
We all tend to have them -- NPCs back in our pups' worlds that we play in OOMs, either characters from canon or OCs for backstory or post-canon plot. For example, there is the Sandhu family for Guppy, the Gotlanders for Teja, the personnel of the coffee house and the SOFs for Sunshine -- you get the idea?
Imagine that, for one day only, your character can bring their friend(s) to the bar; tag in your pup entering with their plus-however-many, then tag out with either your bar pups or their companions to the other one-day visitor.
This works like a fourth wall breakdown or party post -- the more, the merrier. Have fun!

"You can eat", she warns them as food floods forth from Bar, "but if you make yourselves sick, you're cleaning it up. We're guests."

"Oh, well, I guess we're not going to the meeting. Welcome to Milliways, boss?"
The man laughs for a moment, looking around. "It hasn't changed a bit."
"... of course you've been here."

Ellen's just going to be right here snickering at the completely discombobulated look on her red-robed companion's face, thanks.
no subject
"Seems the door is making exceptions today," he says to Ellen while his companion is looking around with an expression only slightly less discombobulated than the Scribe's.

He didn't slam the door hard enough.
"It didn't close!" declares a youthful voice from outside, and then the door pushes open, and a brown-haired teenage boy walks in.
"That's where he took me before!" declares somebody much younger, and a little blonde girl of about six years follows.
And then, there is an avalanche of children, oohing and aahing; the oldest is a girl who's almost a young woman, the youngest are twin girls, and a tiny boy of not even two. In-between, there are...
Many.
Milliways has been invaded by tiny Goths.

Flint is right behind, making sure his son doesn't cause any trouble. "Now Claus, they might live on a different island." He tilts his hat back and grins at all the kids.

"... You know, Pearse, I was wondering what you were doing in that supply closet you tend to pop into for a few seconds," she says, conversationally.
Father Harman turns around.
"Hello, Angie," he says. "Didn't I just leave your office before I came here? What are you doing here?"
"More importantly," Angie says, "where is here?"

Even as the door slams shut behind them and the smaller of the two figures regains her balance, Con is still on his guard, looking around the strange place, whereas Sunshine, seeing where they are, lets out an audible sigh of relief.
"It's okay. I know where we are," Sunshine says.

Thayet doesn't care.
The Queen of Tortall, in this case, does what she wants.
"Abigail, Grace, Jamie... Welcome back to Milliways." She meets Abigail's stony gaze. "Or welcome for the very first time in your case, Abigail. I'm sure Bar will recognize you regardless, since she shares memories with Mike."
Beat.
"Poor thing."
no subject
That's Bar's Barman you're talking about!
Not...that she doesn't disagree, but still!
Upon Bar's top appears a plate of Abigail's favorite food, and a earthenware mug of her favorite brew. And...because she's Bar, who shares memories with Mike, a plate of brownies. These have walnuts on top.

"Looks like your faith in me is proven once again," he says as a human female of medium height and purple hair enters and looks around. To the kids, a boy of ten and a girl of six, he says, "Stay inside the cantina, do not go outside, and do not eat or drink anything that isn't given to you by your mother, me, the waitrats, or the Bar."
[OOC: I'm going to be running to a two hour meeting her in about half an hour, so I'll get back to any tags later.]
So very late, but if it's still open....
She's tempted to go over and say hello, but she's not sure how she'll be received by the woman and the children. This is one of those times when she REALLY regrets her limited wardrobe.
Torn by indecision, she stays where she is.

"Papa! I know there's dinner later but can I have some chocolate? I promise I'll eat well later."
With a rueful glance back at Amara and Bernard, Tavi sighs. "Masha, go with Desiderius. Don't eat too much, either of you," he warns. Immediately the young prince grabs his cousin's hand to drag her off.
"Tavi?" Amara sounds torn between amusement and concern, while Bernard just crosses his arms.
"This could take a while."

He looks at all the children running around. Some of them, apparently, belong with him.
"I think the door broke," he says to Tavi.

"That's the one I mentioned," he says to her, instead, looking grimly at Eric.

We got Family
Every time I try to tag in I come close to crying. The door creaks open just a peek.
"Why're you just standing around, Lucas?" calls a voice on the other side.
That's the only warning the bar gets before the door bursts open, two nearly-identical pajama-clad boys ending up on the floor. The redhead jumps to his feet.
"Whoa, what is this place?" he asks.
"Milliways," his blond brother answers, sitting up.
"How d'you know that?"
Lucas looks sheepishly at the floor while Claus bends over him. More voices come from the other side of the door.
"Hey Mom an' Dad!" Claus calls, hands cupped to his mouth. "Lucas has a secret place!"
Lucas hops up and his arms go around his twin's shoulders just as a man and a woman step into the door. Their father tilts his hat back and puts a protective arm around their mother, both cautious but curious.
"This place's safe," Lucas says to all of them. "An' sometimes it just pops up. I've been here a couple times before."
Once they got the "Why didn't you tell us?" and "Would you believe me if I did?" arguments out of their systems, the family ends up in a booth for breakfast. The twins take up one side, their parents the other, and a big stack of omelets to share in the middle.
and we got Friends
D-d-d-d-double dipping! The door bursting open is more calculated this time. Possibly because the pile of people who end up on the floor is different.
"So I guess we're not getting out of Saturn Valley that way," grouses the young woman in between, rubbing the back of her head where she got conked.
"It was a good try anyway," mumbles the man below her.
"Hey," goes a familiar blond on the top of the pile. "This's Milliways!"
"Milli-what, Lucas?" Duster asks from the bottom.
"Oh, this's that place where he's got some friends," Kumatora clarifies as Lucas gets off her back.
Once everyone's standing up again, Lucas goes to the door and whistles for Boney to join them.
"Well, at least we can get some food," Duster goes, limping to a table.
"And I don't even have to wear a cruddy waitress outfit!" Kumatora cheers.

Enter Cyborg and Beast Boy. Cy is thrilled that he was finally able to get someone into the bar. But he wishes it could be Raven.

"You said that already."

Well, at first it's a static ball, anyway. And then there's a woman standing behind her. "I haven't been here in ages!"
"...Literally, I'm guessing," Claudia says, once she finds her voice. "I didn't even realise this was a thing that could happen."
The Warehouse shrugs. "I haven't in a long time, you're right about that. Christians are weird. I should go find Woolly, and one of these days you need to bring him in through my door."
"Okay, okay, sheesh."
