RingTones!: Your character now has a cellphone that can call cross-dimensionally to their friends in Milliways. What ringtones do they have for specific people or for calls in general?

Hm. I'm not sure what Ibani's phone would have for ringtones, but if OTHER people have phones her ringtone may be the Imperial March aka Darth Vader's theme or the music that gets stuck in my head way too often. She, of course, is baffled by why this theme keeps turning up.

Or, if we want to be more canonical and fourth wall breaking, Treachery is the Sith Inquisitor's theme in game.

Fairy Fixit stares at you blankly.

"You mean I can change the ringtone? Why?"

She digs out her tiny cell phone from her tiny tool case and begins fiddling around with the buttons.

"Huh..."

Oh darn, now she has found the ringtone menu. Milliways thanks you for the extra annoyance caused by Fixit's cycling through the available default ringtones.

(Personally I don't see the point, but that may be because no one ever calls me. Why do I even have a cellphone? ;_; Kidding, I don't like talking to people most of the time anyhow. I can't smalltalk.)

I'll be honest: the idea of changing ringtones based on who's calling is still somewhat alien to me. I mean, you pull out your phone and check the screen before picking up anyway, don't you?

That said, I could see Fluttershy using the My Little Pony theme for Ponyverse contacts and something else, possibly by Beethoofen, for outworlders.

The point of changing ringtones based on who's calling, at least for me, is to know whether I need to bother taking the phone out at all. "Oh, that's Mom's ringtone, I should answer that." "Oh, my tutoring student is calling me- I can't let that go to voicemail, he has trouble with voicemail." "That's the generic ring. Someone who I don't know is calling me. I'm going to ignore it completely."

...Yyeah, I'm not seeing that last category. If I'm going to let my phone go to voicemail it's because of circumstantial/environmental issues, and if I'm going to ignore it completely it's a broad-spectrum mood thing. Or because I'm in a place where I simply don't take my phone.

I'm another who can't imagine having different ringtones for all my contacts, though my wife and daughter have their own.

Jess has one ringtone to rule them all, the theme from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. This is canon thanks to Kelly Sue DeConnick. = ]

Brimstone wouldn't change anything, he'd have enough trouble with the concept of a phone.

If I could set Quinlan's phone to the opening theme to the Clone Wars TV series, I would. But I would try and hide the source or title of the music.

Well, I have new headcanon now :).

Steve alternates between "Steve's Song," the song Orpheus wrote for him, and "Kiss Me" by Ed Sheerhan for Orpheus. For Tony it's "Back in Black" by AC/DC, and for Thor it's "Thunderstruck." (Both Tony's idea, I suspect.) For Natasha it's "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash, and for Bruce it's Aimee Mann's cover of "The Scientist."
