The man in the white coat over black robes seems to find it very easy to resist. "You!" he demands of Pinkie. "Are you responsible for my abduction?"

"Yep!" Pinkie burbles, leading the line in Mayuri's direction. "We kidnapped you with the rhythm of the conga!" she enthuses. And she fully intends to sweep him up in it, too.

A man with a Pharaonic hairstyle and Mad Scientist via Traditional Japanese clothes walks through the door. "This is not my laboratory," he mutters. "Urahara! Is this your doing? Or some last trick of Aizen's?"

[OOC: Because his birthday is tomorrow but I didn't get him apped in the March round, have a Mayuri Kurotsuchi, circa the end of BLEACH volume 48. I make no promise that he won't start casually talking about some horrible experiment he's perpetrated over the years.]

"No, it's an interdimensional space. Not one you'll be stuck in, likely, but interdimensional nonetheless."

Joshua looks up from his notes only after he's done talking. "First time, I'm assuming?"

"You assume correctly, just as I assumed it went without saying that this was an interdimensional space. However, the individuals I named are the only ones I know of with the knowledge and talent to bring me here. You've not seen either of them in this place, have you?"

"Don't think so, no. However, I don't know everyone here by any stretch." He shrugs. "This place is odd. It has it's own set of rules, and tends to pull people in hap-hazardly. If I wasn't already studying a complicated and seemingly almost-magical phenomenon, I might start experimenting with this place."

"Why let that stop you? From the way you speak of it, this place clearly has its own conscious intelligence. Discovering whether it uses some pattern to select its guests could advance the spiritual sciences immeasurably." He sighs. "But I suppose we need those scientists who balk at causing harm in the course of an experiment; they prevent us from delving too deeply into spiritually perilous experiments."

He seems to be looking at Joshua with the beginnings of respect. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mayuri Kurotsuchi, captain of Court Guard Squad Twelve and head of the Soul Society's Department of Technological Development. Which, if this space touches multiple universes, may not signify to you at all. Yare yare..."

The door opens in your favorite pandimensional bar to admit a tiny humanoid who stumbles in and looks about with the exaggerated concentration of the severely inebriated. Burping and scratching herself, she says, "What gives? I know I'm not drunk enough to get lost inside the Maiden Head."

Out on the grounds, new life is springing forth from the garden's numerous flowerbeds. This life includes but is not limited to a gramophone, a complete set off golf clubs, and what appears to be a miniature pipe organ comprised entirely of Swiss cheese, all twisting upwards on garish, multicolored stems. A row of something almost but not quite cabbage pops in to existence in a flash of light. Almost cabbage.

Most heads of cabbage don't have fish heads growing at their centers. They don't typically sing "In the Good Old Summer Time" in twelve part harmony either. A shoal of trombones flitter through the garden, providing a musical accompaniment of "Let it Snow".

In the center of this pastoral scene, lounging several feet above the ground on a floating lawn chair is what might loosely be described as a dragon. Of course, it could just as easily be described as a lion. Or a goat. Or an eagle, a serpent or even a horse depending on what part of the creature you happen to be focusing on.

It's wearing a floppy sunhat.

Come say hello! What could possibly be the harm?

Pinkie Pie, too, is wearing a rather decorative outfit - only she's sporting a straw hat and a pair of red oversized sunglasses with pineapples at the temple pieces.

She ends up joining in with the cabbage's harmony.

...She's always sort of had complicated feelings about Discord. He did torture her but he makes chocolate rain!

One mad, yellow eye pops open at the sound of the additional voice.

"Why, if it isn't Pinkie Pie!" exclaims one of the cabbages, raising its shaggy brows. From the lawn chair, Discord's headless body twiddles its lion toes in greeting. There follows a flash of light which leaves the garden in its dull, origional state and a freshly reassembled draconequus beaming down at her in apparent delight.

"What a pleasant surprise."

"Hiya!" Pinkie seems unruffled by the sudden reformation of her quasi-friend. She manages to bounce her way closer, giving him a curious tilt of the head. "Whatcha up to today?" If it's something naughty, she won't hesitate to try to find Fluttershy to calm him down.

There is a very low cloud right in the park. How low? You might be able to touch the bottom of it if you reach. What's on top of it? A blue rainbow haired pony. She's snoring. What do?

I may have shrieked

"Oooh!"

Yes, it is indeed a rather low-hanging cloud. And Pinkie may or may not be trying to poke it verrry carefully with her hoof at the underside of the cloud.

The snoring's kinda familiar, but she can't quite place it yet.

Well, that poke was interesting, but not hard enough to wake her up. Dash just turns over, her tail flopping over the edge. Look familiar?

I've been hoping for a Dash to play her against FOREVER

'AHH!!" Was the reply Pinkie will be getting from that tackling. At lest she knows what pony it was just by that tackle. "PInkie!! what was that for?! I was having a really good nap!"

"It's you!" she cries. "It's REALLY REALLY YOU AND YOU'RE HERE!"

"C-can't breath!"

I'm so glad she did!

"Oopsie!" Pinkie relinquishes her grip...if only to start bouncing wildly about Dash in excitement. "You're here and we're gonna have so much fun and," GASP! "OH NO!"

Rainbow is just really dizzy right now, trying to get her breath back and rubbing her head to get it together. "Pinkie, what are you talking about?"

"WE CAN FIGURE THAT OUT LATER!" Hooves upon Dash's shoulders, she says. "But I. Forgot. To Sing you. The Welcome to Milliways song!"

And then she simply does so. Hope you were looking forward to a floor show, Dash.

Ooooo kay, that doesn't help anything at all. "Pinkie, you are SO random. We are outside." She kind of tuned Pinkie out after the free drink part.

Pinkie flumps down onto the grass, tuckered out from her performance. She Dramatically Throws a Hoof over her face.

"I know we're totally outside and the sky's totally the same color as Jello JUST like in Ponyville, but we're really REALLY in a supercool place called Milliways!" She strains to think of how she could get Dash to believe her before it comes to her; the lake!

"Do you know of any lake back in Ponyville that has a spooky neat giant squid in it?"

Dash goes over and pats Pinkie on the back. "It was a really good show?" What? She's trying to be nice!

She has to think a bit about that last question. "You told me there's a hydra in froggy bottom pound, but not sure past that. Why?"

Thanks for your comfort, Pinkie "But hydras aren't squid! THEY'RE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!" She immediately gets up from the ground, puts a hoof to her mouth and whistles.

The lake behind them bubbles ominously for a bit before a pink tentacle wavers into view at the pond's center.

"See?"

[OOC: Gah, I didn't mean to wait a week to tag back!]

BOO! tired reply go!

Pinkie just giggles, bounces over to a nearby tree, and forages about in one of its knotholes. With that, she bounces over to the lake, a bag of gummy animals tucked into her saddlebag.

In seconds, she's having quite the conversation with the squid, bribing it bits of gummy sweetness as she does.

Dash's expression only makes her try to draw her friend closer. "Come over and meet him, silly!"
