Yesterday, The Senate passed a bill at work that would ban GMO (Genetically Modified) grass seed. That got me thinking.

Is there something that's well-known or popular in your character's world that your character just doesn't get? Is it conventional wisdom, or just a fairly popular fringe view?

According to various conversations you can have in game, something like one-third of the people who live in Megaton are members of the Church of the Children of Atom. These numbers may have shifted as of the events of the Broken Steel add-on thanks to Radiant Mother Curie and the Apostles of Eternal Light schism, but the fact remains that one-third of the population of the second largest settlement in the Capital Wasteland actively worships either the atomic bomb or ionizing radiation.

Jess's answer is trust Reality TV. She can get some of the concepts, like survival shows or ones that show a inside view of careers you normally wouldn't see, but the ones that follow celebrities lives? Why?

She also doesn't understand the fickle nature of public opinion. With how the average person in the MU acts in regards super heroes, I don't blame her. I mean look at Norman Osborn and his rise to power.

Mark is continuously baffled as to how the U.S. government can actively employ a bunch of meatheads like Youngblood, and how they maintain any kind of popularity in the media. He's starting to suspect that there's something to the fluoride-in-the-drinking-water conspiracies. (Cecil has already told him at least some of the truth about them.)
