Hey everybody! You may have noticed that the Les Mis contingent in the bar has one more addition: Cosette, Valjean's adopted daughter and Fantine's biological daughter. (And with some other connections, but that's enough to be starting with.)
I have one request, for any who know them both. As far as Cosette knows, her father's name is Ultime Fauchelevent, and she knows very little about his past. For at least a little while, could you make sure your characters don't tell her otherwise? That is -- they can certainly say they know her father, they can certainly say they know a man named Jean Valjean, they can certainly ask her questions about her own life and past, etc. But please don't have anyone say "Oh, that man there, yes, I know him as Jean Valjean!" or "Oh, he used to be a convict, didn't he? It seems like a sore subject, I guess," or similar.
The truth will certainly out. But Write and I would like a little while before it does, to make sure we have some control over the circumstances (and to not throw Valjean more curveballs than he can immediately handle.) Thanks!

I just feel like Cosette might at first glance remind him of someone. *cheerful*

Book!Cosette's hair is, for the record, more brown-blond than the blond of her icons, and it's gonna be in the rather doofy-looking topknot-and-ringlets concoctions of the 1830s. And she's short even for her era, which means she's probably 5'0" at max, and probably less. But other than that, I have no problem Millicanoning that she looks like Amanda Seyfried and/or any other characters she's played!
