Shephard and Bumi went up to Svalbard to check out the Global Seed Vault and ran into some people who survived the Combine!

(Due to lack of research on my part there are a few errors of layout for the city of Longyearbyen, and also the thread stops before our heroes actually reach the Vault, but they totally did get that far- we just handwaved it.)
