DE: It's only a third of your life
Let's talk about sleep. How does your pup sleep? Are they a side or back sleeper? Or do they toss and turn? How deeply do they sleep? Is sleep hard to get? Do they dream? How often? Is it vivid? Do they dream in color or texture?
These questions and more maybe answered by hitting that reply button.

Clara, on the other hand, sleeps like the dead, except for occasional very odd, very disturbing dreams about being chased through the TARDIS by odd-shaped monsters. Weird, right?
Sam used to sleep like a log, but since the air raid sirens have started, that's become harder. She's still very unwilling to rouse quickly, and hates mornings quite a lot.
William can sleep anywhere at all - in his hammock, in a coil of rope, leaned up against a mast... he's young, he leads a very active lifestyle, and he's very morally okay with the things he does. His is the sleep of the just.
Katya's still more prone to being awake through the night and napping during the day - old habits die hard. When she does manage to be diurnal sometimes she's just dragging through the whole day because it feels wrong. And while her dreams are usually formless things with vague plots she loses the thread of once awake, she does sometimes re-live old conferences her boss would hold - if you really pissed him off, or matters became suddenly urgent, the man had no problem invading your dreams and having it out right there.
The rest of mine are pretty uninteresting on that front...

Helena's a fairly light sleeper, but if she's comfortable, she rarely wakes up.
Fantine can fall asleep anywhere, no matter what is going on around her.
The rest of mine are pretty boring on the sleep front.

Shephard sleeps on his back, mostly, but he can fall asleep anywhere he needs to. He once slept through his houndeye giving birth on his bed but I suspect that was more a case of exhaustion for him than being naturally that sound of a sleeper. He has fairly vivid dreams; unlike Gordon, few if any of them are nightmares. The ones that are, are pretty epic, and usually result in him getting up to either run a ridiculous distance in the dark or go bang rocks together until he has a new knife collection/set of arrowheads knapped, because that's easier than thinking about it.
Varric sleeps pretty soundly and is very fond of his awfully nice bed at the Hanged Man. The Hanged Man may be a bar for very bad people doing very questionable things but he pays good coin for the right to make his room swank and comfy and clean, thank you.
Stacker.... I don't know. I'm sure he sleeps, if only for health reasons, but I can't for the life of me picture someone actually catching him unconscious. It's not even Schroedinger's Sleep, because that implies the possibility that if you open the door you might find him something other than awake.
Medic is a bit fussy about his sleeping conditions, although he presents it as concern for his pet guinea pig Katyusha (Archimedes the dove is RED Medic's pet, not BLU's). He gets plenty of overly dramatic and colorful dreams that would be nightmares for anybody else, but for him they're terribly entertaining.
Santo sleeps, or at least has a bed that we see him sitting up and reading in. I need to watch some more of his canon to see whether he ever actually sleeps or not.
Edward can sleep almost anywhere, but prefers his berth in Jackdaw's captain's cabin to be nice and swank, and free of bugs. Given that on arriving in Havana he asked his companion Stede Bonnet where the best kip in town was, I suspect he's willing to spend more for a nice bed on land, too.
Ellen needs a firm surface to sleep on. The mattresses in Vault 101 were two hundred years old and had long since lost their cushionyness; they probably had boards under them to hold them up. She's done a lot of Wasteland sleeping in the open that involved finding a reasonably safe place to snatch a few hours while Dogmeat kept watch, so she's used to napping instead of all-night sleeping. When Bryan Mills took her to visit his world's DC, she couldn't deal with the hotel bed or the quiet, so she pulled off the pillows and the blanket and wound up sleeping on the floor nearest the HVAC system in order to get something like a familiar noise. Her Milliways room is essentially a replicated Vault room, which would look disturbingly tiny and spartan to most people in Milliways who hadn't served on a submarine or Earth naval vessel. She's uncomfortable sleeping in large spaces, but that's a part of her agoraphobia in general (she still has it, she just doesn't mention it to anyone because she hasn't had a panic fit looking up at the sky in weeks).

Somehow, I never feel that the creepiness of this (not to mention the amount of vampire sex going on without anybody pointing out that no fluids but blood is kinda really gross) is properly addressed by canon.
Elrond is an elf. Elves are weird.
Although I do believe, that he rather enjoys stretching out underneath the covers. Or used to. Now he just misses his wife.

Lydia sleeps like most teenagers, as much as possible. Right now her dreams are fairly normal and about everyday things, and she dreams in color. Canon will change all that. My poor baby.
Bilbo sleeps when he can out on the road. At home, he has a lovely bed and usually wakes up around dawn, just in time for a lovely breakfast.
The Ice King has a lot of nightmares. His wizard eyes see some strange stuff, yo.
Sadie is usually sleeping off yesterday's martinis. She tends to mutter in her sleep, and she sleeps better when Frank is with her than when they're apart.
Cecil sleeps more now that Carlos is with him. Like most of Night Vale, he often wakes up screaming. It's just something you get used to. He dreams mostly in red.
When he's alone, Steve sleeps like he's on a camp bed, on his back, completely straight. When he has company he tends to curl into them or wrap himself around them like they need to share body heat. He dreams a lot in black and white, though he's begun to dream in color more since he came out of the ice. His bad dreams are mostly about the war.
Jack tends to sleep like he's on a camp bed too, when he sleeps. If he's got company he really doesn't want, he tends to stay up all night to ignore them. When he has company he does want, he sleeps like a baby.

Red, Sam and Cata can all sleep deeply anywhere and wake up quickly; it's a necessity in all of their lives.
I haven't really thought about it for the rest of 'em.

Enjolras, in contrast, is a light sleeper, prone to tossing and turning. He's the kind of guy who will fall asleep in a tidy curl and wake up on the other side of the bed having kicked half the covers to the floor. (If he's sharing a bed -- not that way, just in terms of letting a friend crash or whatever -- he keeps to his side of the bed, but he still kicks off half the covers and steals the rest.) He falls back asleep pretty fast, though -- he's not insomniac, just easy to wake up. He dreams, but usually makes no effort to remember them once he's awake.
Trowa is a light sleeper who does not toss and turn -- he has a lot of early training here with small sleeping spaces and in war zones. He falls asleep on his back or his side, and wakes up in nearly the same position, even in a large bed. He dreams; sometimes he remembers them, sometimes he doesn't.
He can fall asleep pretty much anywhere. Other people in the room is fine, lights are fine, noise is fine; it took him a while to get used to having another person in the actual bed, but he has now, which is good because his boyfriend is kind of a human limpet when sleeping. If Trowa can't sleep in a position that lets him keep his back to a wall, though, he'll sleep even more lightly than usual, and wake up frequently. (If he's really twitchy, either because of a dangerous situation or because he's otherwise keyed up, he'll wake up reflexively keeping very still to pretend he's still asleep while he assesses his surroundings. This is a reflex he's otherwise mostly turned off, these days.)
Clare sleeps rarely, briefly, lightly, and while sitting cross-legged with her sword stuck in the ground for a backrest. Yep. Claymores, man. If she sleeps lying down, it's because she's utterly exhausted herself to the point of just keeling over.
If she dreams, she almost never remembers any of it. (She dreams. At least sometimes.)
River is someone who needs to get her eight (or whatever) hours of sleep, partly because of meds and partly just because that's how her body works. She sleeps... not notably deeply or lightly? Mid-range? Uh. She dreams a lot, though. She also has biofeedback/combat training dreams (thanks, Academy) during which it's not really a good idea to wake her up. Because... combat training dreams. (They used to be a lot more traumatic for her than they are now, but nowadays they're not nightmares, just their own kind of dream thing, and she doesn't remember them when she wakes up.)
Regan is also someone who needs to get her eight (or whatever) hours, but without the extra wrinkles River has. She sleeps on the deep side of normally, I guess...? She's rarely prone to insomnia, but enough stress will do it. She's not a cuddly sleeper, but she's used to sharing a bed after decades of marriage, and even when she's alone in the bed she'll stay on her own usual side.
Cosette sleeps deeply, mostly on her side. She dreams; sometimes they're bad dreams she doesn't remember when she wakes up, but mostly they're happy ones she might or might not remember later. When she was younger, she'd sleep curled up around a doll or pillow if she had one, and she still occasionally wakes up to find herself hugging a pillow.
("Sleep" no longer looks like an actual word.)

David also has nightmares but has a strict routine of meditation he uses to clear his head before sleeping.
Olivier is an army brat and is use to sleeping anyway so he's happy as long as he's warm enough.
