DE: Someone very important gave this to me
Lagged this morning, so one from the suggestion box; as presented by
gavin62truck :
Does your pup keep anything that has deep sentimental value to them?

Harry - all the photos he has of his late wife
Ichabod - his coat probably counts because he refuses to give it up and the only other real possession he has is Washington's bible. Later he will have a very ugly hand-made doll.
Roshaun - depending on the point in canon, the Sunstone or nothing in particular
Gavroche - somewhere he has a replica of Enjolras' red coat that Bar gave him when he was ten. It doesn't fit anymore but he still keeps it. Also the leather bracelet Alain gave him before he left, which he does wear.
Nancy - not a thing.
Norrington - no, only his memories
Jonathan - not particularly
Michael - says no because he still has all his most important people around him. Mouse might count, and he does have a ridiculous number of family photographs.

Shephard: no, not really. Everything he had that was of deep sentimental value was destroyed sometime between Black Mesa and now.
Ellen: Her father's Pip-Boy was recovered from the Enclave's stash of things they found at the Jefferson Memorial. It's got a few pictures on it of the two of them, so she keeps it- it's useful for other reasons but the pictures are sentimental value. Also there is the shocksword Jerald made for her. That's new.
Medic: Will never admit it but his guinea pig, Katyusha, counts.
Pentecost: Almost certainly something Mako made for a gift for him. And I'm dead sure he's got a picture of Tamsin Sevier, his co-pilot in Coyote Tango, that he keeps close to hand as well.
Santo: I don't think so, but I could be wrong. There's a lot of canon and something might be mentioned in there that'd work.
Edward Kenway: Not that I've seen.
Varric: His crossbow Bianca.

Nynaeve keeps Lan's ring on a chain around her neck. It's important.
Raven keeps his coat. Always. It's a reminder.
Galadan has River's friendship bracelet on his wrist -- the green, gray, and pink one. The reason it has not fallen off in the centuries (his time) that have passed since then has absolutely nothing to do with any preservative actions he may have taken. Nope. >_>
Dean's got the necklace Sam gave him, and the Impala.
Sam Tyler, at this point in time, has absolutely nothing from his former life, but he gets to see people from his past, including his parents, so that's . . . like sentimental? If Gene ever stopped breaking his door down, Sam might have a sentimental attachment to his lock.
Michael: Not . . . really? She's not built that way.
Wonder Woman -- she holds her memories closer than she does actual things.

Jess is giving me a blank look. I don't know if this means she doesn't trust me with the knowledge or that she doesn't have anything. I'd venture to say favorite foods are her sentimental thing.
Andrea has her guns. And places. And memories.
Mulan has her armor which is akin to a portable ancestor shrine to her (my head canon).
Anton, I am not sure of. I'm inclined to say his music but it is most often used as a plot or prophetic device than any sort of sentimentality on Anton's part.
Brimstone has a wishbone he wears about his neck. It is more than it seems.
Quin has Aayla's (who was his padawan) lightsaber now. I'm half-convinced he also has one of Asajj Ventress', as well.

Helena has her lockets of Christina.
Mark is connected to his camera in ways that would create an Artifact in another 'verse.
Valentine, Peter, and Fantine aren't really that sentimental.

But it isn't in her possession until canon rolls around, and I am lagging behind canon by about 20 years for reasons.
In a way, the god-monster gorillas Ayuni, Leeuni, and Eruni, are sentimental possessions. But when canon rolls around, she loses them.
Everything else she breaks :(

Eriond: not really. He doesn't own things, and Horse is his friend, not a possession.
Lois: has a box of old things related to her mom stashed at the back of a closet, including a glass bird called Old Blue, a tape she's never watched, and an envelope for "On your wedding day," which reminds Lois to breathe and cherish every moment. Eventually she'll also have a silver heart on a chain handed down through the Kent family. She probably keeps knick-knacks in general.
Tavi: I have headcanon that he's got two small old toys of his little cousins', stolen from their room after they and their mom died in a plague. He honestly doesn't really have things. Tavi gets the Princeps' signet dagger at the end of Captain's, and then Sextus's after Third Calderon, but while they carry weight for him they're the Crown seals. If any of his grandmother's paintings got out of Alera Imperia before Sextus nuked it, Tavi definitely keeps those, especially the one of his father, and personally keeps any books from Sextus's study which survived (but again, as much business as sentiment, because Gaius and there is never just one reason).

Mia has Ghaleon's lute, which she learned how to play so that it could be both sentimental and practical. She also keeps a number of gorgon dolls, most of them made by friends who know how much she loves them.
Lohengrin has I guess Pfeifferkuchen? And his wedding things.

Ibani doesn't have anything of sentimental value, at least not yet.
Annabelle has a closet full of weapons at Milliways, several of them were gifts from friends, so they have sentimental value.

Dixie: Dolls, dresses and pewter cups from her various families.
Juliet: A pendant from her brother, Ewan.
Pinkie: All sorts of stuff, including many a fillyhood momento.
Eponine: A necklace that she's had since she was a baby.
