I am the weakest of weaksauces because I haven't got a single thing in mind for Mr. Bad Luck.

Probably his room will cease to exist and he'll fall in the lake. Or something. (Maybe all his friends will be dead or something, ha ha boy that one never gets old.) But if anyone wants to accidentally do something hilariously awful to another character today, or if you need a roaming Plot Device, let me know because Bossuet is fair game!

I have a pup who routinely practices archery and firearms out back. If Bossuet is ever the sort to wander outside, maybe something amusing could be arranged? (Doesn't need to have blood involved. I managed to bounce an arrow off my own head once due to a bad clothing choice.)

Swearing profusely in German, the Emcee stalks in, looking like a wet cat. A wet cat with mascara running down his face and a snarl on his lips.

Sam is startled, and quite fairly too - first by the German, then by the sight of all that running mascara (don't lie, you know it looks a fright).

She tries very politely to not stare, while offering him a towel.

He ain't the only one wet.

There's a soaked young woman peeling out of pretty much all the extra layers she can, with a stack of very large, very fluffy dry towels stockpiled on the arm of the nearest couch.

You know the only thing unsexy about dancing in the rain with hot guys? ...Well, aside from being spun around so much you fall on your ass, drying off. There's no way to make this part attractive--just be careful of her glasses on the towel pile.

The nearly-30 chubby brunette (with just a few hairs of white) rubs at her temples and limps over to a booth. She hops in sideways, making no effort to hide the surgical scars on her ankle and going up her right leg, and orders a grilled cheese with tomato soup.

Distraction would be lovely.

"Anyone any good at deciphering hand-writing?" asks the brunette archivist, glaring idly at the stack of late 19th and early 20th century postcards she's carrying as she wanders in. "Or any good at traveling back in time to teach people how to write legibly?"

Milliways seems as though it would be a good resource for this sort of thing.
