OOH OOH IN BEFORE GENARTI WITH "RED THE BLOOD OF ANGRY MEN."

No but in 1830 probably the tricolor would be a bigger deal for this guy, on account of living through and in the Bourbon restoration and the repression of republican symbols.

genarti: Enjolras looking annoyed and disapproving, and/or about to go revolutionize all the things. ([les mis] both agog and aghast)

*cracking UP*

I mean, you're not wrong on both counts. Red, and the red-blue-white tricolor.

(ALSO BLACK, THE DARK OF AGES PAST

BUT MOSTLY RED, THE WORLD ABOUT TO DAAAAAAWN LET'S BE REAL)

None of mine care particularly much for any colour, except this boy and it is, of course, red.

Okay, uh, we dealt with Enjolras a few comments up!

River: It used to be blue. A very specific shade of (hands of) blue. She's somewhat gotten over that association, at least to the point of not flinching back instantly from anything similar, but she's never going to like it, or have doctors-glove blue in her wardrobe.

Thor: Hmm. I think lots of gold in a room is homey for him? Oh, also magic in a certain shade of green -- his mom's magic looks like that too, not just Loki's, but all the same anything in that bright green is gonna catch his eye. He's got the habit of old prank-dodging (frequently unsuccessfully) as well as newer grief there.

Trowa: I'm not sure, for color-associations. I know anything that looks like a gleam of mobile suit plating would catch his eye, but they came in a lot of colors.

Clare: White-blond, probably.

Cosette and Regan, I'm not sure. I'll ponder.

For Felix, there are two: bright yellow, the color of his Psynergy; and a pale purple that reminds him of Sheba.

Fluttershy also has purple, but a different one and for a completely different reason. The purple in question for Fluttershy is deeper, verging on magenta - the color, specifically, of Twilight's magic. It's emblematic, to her, of friendship and the power (both metaphorical and literal) that brings.

I have no idea for Kain. Possibly the blue of Dragoon armor?

Blue, of course.

A deep, deep blue.

Why? The answer comes in a box carrying a mad, impossible, Raggedy Man.

Helena does not like bronze. She really doesn't like bronzes of any sort (from shoes to statues) and is not fond of the colour.

Joshua isn't fond of shiny gold.

Valentine doesn't like white uniforms, but it's not an absolute hatred. She doesn't really connect with colour much at all.

Peter loves Red.

Mark and Fantine don't really have much to say about any specific color.

Cyberspace is so very colourful that I don't think colours provoke such strong reactions from sprites as they do from humans, or they wouldn't be able to go about their day. Enzo likes a lot of colours. Sky blue, however, reminds him both of Bob and of Dani's eyes.

Red gets the most reaction out of Lucas. It's the color of his mother's dress, the color of Claus's hair, the color of the stripes on his shirt, the color of spilled blood, and, as Sasha taught him here, the color of strength in the rainbow meditation. Thanks to the last one, he's got a way to keep things from getting out of control.

Mia has a strong fondness for the color green. When it's the color your husband likes to wear the most, there's bound to be some strong associations with it, both good and bad. It's also the most common color on gorgons.

Lohengrin's color button is blue, the color of Elsa's and Princess Tutu's eyes.

Henry I'm honestly not sure about.

Eriond's is deep connection to and fondness of two shades of blue: that of the Orb and kind of now his own, slightly lighter blue. Admittedly, he also has a deep reaction to the red that the Sardion was, mostly of regret and pity.

Lois has some temporary, painful reactions to green (thanks Ollie) but let's face it. Her strongest, most positive associations are with red and blue, beyond her basic preference: a memento of her mother's is blue, and she once had a confusing dream about a flying man in a red cape.

Tavi is, naturally, complicated.
- Black and red together evoke an instant, visceral wariness due to being the colors of two long-time enemies: Aquitaine and the Canim.
- The most varying reactions are to three shades of green: warm nostalgia for the Calderon family's forest green; dread of the sickly green of the Vord croach wax; and he can lose himelf in the bright green of Kitai's eyes, as she does is. That said...
- His colors are red and blue. They are the colors of Alera, his Legion, and his father's family, and of his devotion to them running nigh beyond sanity; now, they define his identity.

Hey guys. Take a wild guess what my favorite colors are. I bet it's totally impossible to tell.

Between HYDRA and the skrulls, green is a problematic hue for Jess. It's only saving grace is avocados and guacamole, which go a long way towards redemption. When together, red, blue, and gold mean home and friendship to her.

Hank is on the fence about a certain twilight shade of blue. It both appeals to him and stands out as not normal. It will continue to haunt his life and be the barrier to true social acceptance for him. (I wish he didn't care so much about what people thought of him.)

Despite his grumbles about Karou's vanity, Brimstone likes the shade of blue her hair has become. It has come to mean hope and home.

Quin loves purple as it reminds him of his wife. Yellow is a mixed bag as it reminds him of his clan and parents but also of his aunt who murdered them.

Stitch's favorite color is red. I could make up something about how, given his vision canonically extends further into the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums than ours, it might be entirely possible that he's not seeing red at all and that we can't even SEE whatever the color he associates with is. But honestly I have no idea.

This is a fascinating question though not easy to answer.

For Will, I think its green as its a hopeful color, Sherwood and holds all that he cares for.

Charles, this isn't a simple one, whenever he sees Raven's shade of blue, it makes him search for her, but I can't think of another. I know he tends to wear blues and greys but they don't mean as much. Thanks to Iris he doesn't look at rainbows the same way.

William always pales a little at the sight of red as it makes him think of his father dying and Mark coughing up blood on bad nights.

Ivan, I think green, its a reassuring cover, but I can't think of anything in particular.

Moist, there's something about the white of the moon that always make him wish to hide, it reminds him too much of Uberwald.

Jane loves deep, dark green as it makes her think of Tom's jacket and what it felt like to be held by him.

Sameth adores dark red as its a color that Kait wore a lot and whenever he sees someone wearing it, he looks for her.

Demeter's heart sings when she sees the new green of a growing plant, it means Kore is truly home.

Tumnus loves light blue, the color of the sky in the spring.

The Pirate King always smiles at the sight of the blue of the sea.

Ace: TARDIS blue - in small amounts it's a link to a (usually) happy memory. In TARDIS-shaped amounts it means there's trouble nearby and she ought to look into that.

Katya: The royal/midnight blue of the Gloom moss - the moss is a living organism that can survive in the Gloom and seems to go strongest in areas of negative emotion - it's a good 'tell' of something interesting going on.

Jemma: Tessaract/Glowstick of Destiny blue (or alternately, Loki green) . Later in canon, Centipede yellow/orange. All of these colors now mean extreme danger, and are to be treated accordingly. ... Basically in Marvel, it seems, if it's pretty and/or glowy odds are eventually it's going to cause a lot of pain.

Balthazar: Ice-blue - it's the color of the stone on Horvath's 'ring' (which he made into a sword, and then later into a cane, because style).

Glorfindel: Blue and silver or, alternately, the red-gold of flames. The first is the colors of his king and the line he follows, the second reminds him some days entirely too much of Gondolin.

William and Sam don't really have a color, though they're rather patriotic sorts so I guess their flag sort of counts?

Bones: Engineering/Security red - either someone's coming to rescue them from whatever mess they're in, or someone's being dragged to the medbay in hope of being patched back together. That color's just unlucky.

*facepalm*

And Clara/Oswin:

Oswin's is red - I think the color means safety for her - almost everything in her made-up world was either red or a complimentary color to red, and she still clings to it.

Clara's, like Ace's, is TARDIS blue.

Clementine: Pink, because it's her lucky color.

Dixie: Red, the color of seduction.

Juliet: Pink, because she hates it.

Eponine: Brown. It reminds her of the hell of poverty.

Pinkie: The colors of the rainbow themselves, cause they remind her of the first sonic rainboom she saw.
