Plot: Milliways' Most Wanted

So I was thinking that what we could really use around here is a heist plot.

Cavilo (toxic_perfume), who has been living in the Whoniverse for some years now, is planning a fairly ambitious theft and will need help! Spoiler: she is already intending to doublecross everybody who helps her on this. She's hoping to get away with it. I'm hoping for it to bite her in the ass.

The (Ostensible) Target
Cavilo is after the crown jewels of Shaxell, a rather isolated and provincial world. I'm figuring the crown jewels are in some high-security museum / shrine type thing that also holds a lot of other valuable stuff; suggestions as to what kind of stuff are welcome. (Another possibility is that the crown jewels are being moved, preparatory to an upcoming coronation; in that case there could be other valuable items being moved at the same time.) Cavilo will be telling people that everybody who assists her will get an equal share of the take. It could happen!

The Real Plan
... okay yes, there’s more to her plan than this. She's not telling. Muns who wish to participate will get the full story in advance, so they can decide whether or not they want their pups involved. Everybody else gets to find out as things develop.

The Setup
As mentioned above, the actual setup is currently fairly flexible. I can pretty much tailor the needs of the mission to suit the skills of whatever pups people want to participate. There will almost certainly be some sneaking, some impersonation, and some combat (hand-to-hand, ship-to-ship, or whatever seems appropriate). If anybody's escape is threatened, again, Cavilo will cheerfully leave them to die and/or take the fall.

Why You Want In On This
Wacky hijinks in a wacky sci-fi setting! Hilarity! Suspense! Action! An opportunity for your pup to pick up something shiny! And a guarantee that your pup will get out of it okay, despite throwing in with a compulsive backstabber!

Ooh, Moist would be perfect for this and he's all about adventures that involve theft. I don't think any of my others would fit as well and he would be all about lying and double crossing.

Oh, I think it'll be a while before we hit the cutoff point for volunteers. :D Your Jedi-turned-smuggler is definitely welcome, though we may need to work out whether / how well Jedi powers will work in the Whoniverse.

Likely a wise plan. Given it's your pup's world, I will default to your ruling. I'd be fine with not working or working in a limited fashion, if not working as normal.

He is working during the time of the Empire's rise and so doesn't default to force skills to solve problems though.
