New round of car keys plot!

From two of the producers of the Krampus plot of last Christmas, this is
Pupcycling -- Car Keys With A Twist!

We are all very happy playing here, but occasionally, some muns find it hard to interact with people they don't know or feel a bit shy about, especially as people tend to sort themselves by time zones. To mix things up, a car keys* plot often works, so we are running one -- mod-approved and jointly between Charlotte and me, Maru. On AIM, she is guppymun and I am sootymun, if you have any questions or requests in private. PMs to Teja (ostro_goth ) or Guppy (guppy_sandhu ) also work.

This is how we do it: people throw the names of the character(s) they want to do some more tagging with, or to get more tags for, into this plot post, which will remain open for two weeks. At the end of that time all the character names are put into a list and then randomly paired; the one thing we will make sure is that nobody gets assigned a charrie from the same mun. The participants are then informed of who they are to tag, and who is going to tag them. Generally in the past we've left the excuse for tagging the other character up to the players involved, but this time, Charlotte came up with this excellent twist we call Pupcycling, and this is how it works:

Do you have a pup that you love, but don't know quite what to do with? We have a lot of great characters on our books, but sometimes it's hard to come up with new stuff when you've been playing the same one for a while, and they can sit quietly in a drawer for a while.

If you remember over Christmas, when we had the Krampus chuck a bunch of people in the labyrinth, we got everyone to think up prompts - and our hive mind came up with some AMAZING cracky stuff. So we thought - at the same time as we sign up for carkeys, we'd love if you would give us a list of prompts for people to pick from.

You could then either do this with your carkeys partner, or just grab them for a pup that you don't play very often. If you have an idea, we have a separate thread below - stick your ideas in there, we'll make a list, and then you can pick one out.

So, here are two threads: one for volunteering your characters, and one for suggesting prompts that will get somebody's character to interact with a stranger or become nicely busy. After the fortnight, we will assign you your partners, and throw the prompt list open for claiming. Thank you!


* Car keys were notionally the items placed in a bowl and then drawn to randomise assignments during 60s and 70s partner swapping parties -- you may remember the Cold Case episode about that practice? That's what this plot is about, only with 100% less sex, unless a connection strikes, as it would in any regular interaction in Milliways.
