DE: Once more...
So, your pup has woken up and the world is singing instead of talking, Even they can't help themselves. How do they react? Do they just go along until they can figure out what's happened? Do they avoid speaking, and thus singing, as much as they can? Are they secretly pleased with the turn of events?
ETA: For those from musical canons, what if everyone stopped singing?

Zecora remains calm and collected;
after all, she is barely affected. ;-)

Hank would be silent. He doesn't trust his singing voice.
Quin would be very confused but would work with it as best he could. I doubt he'd vocalize more than he normally would but wouldn't be shy of vocalizing as needed.
Brimstone would be as terse in verse as he is in prose.
Andrea would have a hard time keeping herself from giggling and would be surprised that she had a nice singing voice.
Ethan would role with it but act freaked out. I'm not picturing a "What the fuck is this?" song...nope not at all.
Mulan would be grumpy about the whole thing and Lady Trent would be annoyed. How can one be taken seriously when they must sing any words they wish to speak?
I think Sam would ham it up, likely doing his best Marvin Gaye impression.

Fairy Fixit would be delighted. It would mean people would listen to her rambling longer before tuning her out.

How about the opposite then? Suddenly no one is singing!

Shephard would probably go along with it, but people wouldn't be able to understand him, because just to be annoying he'd do a death metal voice every time he sang. (It's not a variety of metal he particularly favors, but the distinctive sound lodges in the brain.)
Not sure about the others.

If they're just singing, without the need for the secret-telling, the only one who's going to have a problem is Ace. It's not that she'd mind personally, per say - it's that everyone with any sense of pitch whatsoever would tackle her and force her into silence.

Thor would notice, shrug in bemusement, and roll with it. I mean, he'd try to figure out what was happening, but not with embarrassment or deep urgency; he'd kind of get a kick out of it, and probably congratulate someone on a good prank at the end of it.
River would be silent and cranky as much as possible. If there were dance breaks she'd enjoy that part, though.
Regan, less personally cranky about being made to sing (though she's not wild about it) and more cranky about having magic affecting her, but it probably works out similarly.
Cosette would be confused, but have enormous fun. (Cosette is kind of a Disney princess several decades before Disney, so.)
Clare would probably be in the woods and miss the entire thing. If she didn't, she'd be mostly silent out of startled confusion. If she had to talk, she'd be kind of irked about the singing, but it wouldn't fundamentally offend her.
Trowa: definitely silent. Definitely trying to figure out wtf is going on.

No singing? What, like none? What are you guys doing? Like, he knows other people in the play get straight dialogue, but c'mon it's been like an hour. It's song time! Guys?
This is creepy.

Discord... I can't imagine Discord's too pleased with being controlled. Watching everyone else flail is definitely a bonus though. Hell, he's probably behind this.

Dixie would presume it was Orb related, go looking for Brisco and meanwhile enjoy every single little drop of musical attention she received.
Juliet experienced this in canon! And went along with it.
Pinkie: Would be super sad about the lack of singing and lead an expedition to find out why everyone had suddenly gone silent. Cue a special rescue party!
Eponine's life would become even more unbearably tragic than it already is.
