DE: Distinguishing marks
I slept in today, because I have the day off, and it was wonderful!
Onto today's topic, does your pup have any tattoos or distinguishing marks? If they don't, have they thought of getting a tattoo or something similar? Or how about we give suggestions for what sorts of things they should get?

Shephard has a Marine Corps bulldog tattooed under the T-shirt-sleeve area of his... I forget which arm. Probably the left one. Also there's that whole silver forearm and hand welded to what's left of his right arm, and the faint but visible mark along a good part of his forehead from where a black headcrab bit him when he had his helmet and gas mask off.
Stacker Pentecost has burn lines on the order of what we saw Raleigh Becket sporting in his shirtless scene, and for the same reason.
Medic has several lines of basic medical information tattooed on his upper back, just below and to the left of the vertebra prominens.
Ellen and Gordon don't have tattoos but good Lord, man, the distinguishing scars. Gordon post-HL 1 and 2 could be described as looking like a dog chewed on somebody's math teacher, but he lost his right eye and wound up with a lot of scar tissue on that side of his face by the time we finished up HL 3 millicanon, so there's that. Ellen has an array of scars that only her doctor and her husband have ever seen. She also has more than a few lines from knives and animal claw grazes on her face, a couple of laser burn marks, several nicks in her left ear from where she was jumped by a raider in a Metro tunnel (she had a hard time finding and keeping a helmet at first), and a lot of jagged scar tissue on her right forearm from encounters with mirelurks while wearing standard body armor (which, for no clear reason that I can discern, covers the torso and legs but appears to cover the arms about as well as your average T-shirt).
I don't think Santo has any tattoos. If he has scars I haven't seen 'em in the movies I've watched so far.
And Varric may or may not have scars or tattoos, but would like it noted that his chest hair is a pretty epic distinguishing mark.

Hank: No tattoos but his feet do stand out. I can't imagine what tattoo he woudl get if he were ever convinced to get one. SUggestions?
Brimstone: No tattoos but lots of scars, some in esoteric shapes. Of course, he also has a rams head and leonine legs, so he sort of stands out.
Quinlan: Clan tattoos on his face and left bicep. I am thinking he might be removing them or obscuring them now that the Empire seems to have its eye on him.
Andrea: Scar free thanks to Lyc-V. I do want her to get a memorial tattoo for her mother which I am thinking is going to be a coiled lasso around a forearm, high enough to hide under a shirt. It will need to be done in Milliways though as Lc-V would flush any non-magical tattoo, though I may decide there are tattoo shops in her world that can do it.
Lady Trent: Nothing and she is nearly blushing at the idea.
Ethan: Nothing and thanks to several steamy scenes, we see a lot of his flesh. He's a blank canvas and seemingly scare free.
Mulan: No tattoos but I can see scars from both training and the Ogre wars. She's good but I can't see her coming out without a scratch.
Sam: I'd imagine he'd have a tattoo to honor the 58th Rescue Squadron and maybe even something for Riley.

Cosette also does not, for similar societal reasons only even more so, because she's a lady (and not one setting out to flout as many societal standards as she can). And she's never taken a significant injury that scarred.
Thor... we have no canonical indication of any, and given the number of gratuitous beefcake shots Chris Hemsworth gets in that leaves the available area for them somewhat limited. I'm going to assume not, although he's probably pretty magically distinctive. I suspect that at least for Thor's social class, tattoos are a thing other cultures do but his doesn't or only rarely does.
Trowa doesn't. I could go either way on whether it'd make sense for his backstory, but we never see any, and like Thor he shows a fair amount of skin onscreen. He has a very old burn scar on the back of his neck, but that's about it -- he has some other scattered scars, but they're all pretty small.
Clare has a distinctive (and gross) Claymore scar... type... thing on her stomach, which is why she won't likely ever show her stomach to anyone in-bar, but that just marks her as a Claymore, not as any individual. I don't think she has any tattoos. It's not a cultural thing for her. She's got some distinctive aura stuff, but that's not exactly a physical thing, and it's not detectable to normal humans.
River has some pretty distinctive scars on her scalp and her brain! >.< But no tattoos, I don't think. I don't think she has any theoretical objections, but I can't see her wanting any tattoo enough to voluntarily have a lot of needles stuck in herself.
Regan probably has a small tattoo, on somewhere hidden by professional clothing, like her hip or heel or something, that she got back in college. I'm not sure what it is, though. Something inoffensive that had personal meaning at the time; now the personal meaning is less in the symbol of it and more in the connection to her younger self.

The big one this DE applies to is Follows-Chalk who has tattoos freaking everywhere, man. I normally wouldn't include him, given he hasn't had an EP in over a year but... never say never, right? It's all Cam's fault.

Charles has no tattoos or distinguishing scars at this point in time. After the end of First Class, he'll have a scar where he was shot. Tattoos aren't really something someone in his section of society would get and I think knowing Raven would make the idea of body modification weird.
Ivan doesn't have any major tattoos or scars but he is someone that would be recognizable to people on Barrayar and honestly his name is a huge distinguishing thing. I could see him thinking about a tattoo or body modification at some point in his life and then thinking of his mother and probably mentioning it to Miles who laughed at the idea.
The only distinguishing marks Moist has are from my headcanon which is that he has lots of little scars from helping to train dogs with his grandfather as a boy. Otherwise he does everything he can to not be noticeable unless he controls how.
William doesn't have anything, tattoos aren't something he would ever consider for himself and he doesn't have any major scars.
Jane doesn't have anything either, for the same reasons as Cosette, with her era and her position in society, it wouldn't fit for her.
Sameth has a couple of distinguishing marks. The first is the Charter Mark on his forehead that looks somewhere between a tattoo and almost a burn. I have some icons that try and capture the look of it and it glows golden when he's doing magic. Then he also has a few major scars from injuries. Around one of his wrists, there's a burn mark in the shape of someone's hand as well as burns on the inside of his thighs and puckered skin from where he was stabbed in the thigh.
Demeter doesn't have anything though she has a feel about her so people who know of gods can find. She never wears shoes but that's again more her.
Tumnus doesn't have anything to mark him out from any other faun in Narnia.
The Pirate King does have a couple of tattoos, there's one that's a little class of sherry, a skull and crossbones wearing a crown and others that I don't know of.
I've often thought of getting a tattoo, though haven't yet. My current favorite idea would be the lamppost from Narnia as I love how it represents crossroads and beginnings.

Gredya probably can't have tattoos. At least, I don't think they'd last through a transformation. (It's pretty grisly, her hair/fur falls out, bones are growing and squishing and moving around, things are falling off; she ends up with lovely shiny new teeth and hair and fabulous new skin so I don't think a tattoo would make it. On the other hand, odds are pretty good that Wyr would totally get tattoos just for the hell of it.)

Olivier - Has no major scars or distinguishing marks, other than his rather distinct colouring for his time.
David - also has quite a few scars but only a couple of years worth and nothing major since them. The most distinct is a set of whip marks across his back. Most obvious is the very large tattoo on his back - a stylised version of his regimental tattoo with the motto Luck doesn't come for free in Latin. It was done in a drunken hazy after the rest of his regiment was lost in an ambush.
Minx - her skin is very smooth and has no scars or tattoos but she does have a little birthmark on her upper thigh about the shape of a leaf.

Trolls likely don't scar quite as easily as humans do or they'd all look like Edward Scissorhands with the fights they get into. We've seen at least a couple of trolls - Dualscar and his pre-scratch counterpart - who're drawn with distinctively scarred skin (Terezi's eyes aren't really what I was thinking of here), so it's clearly possible to get them, but I'm not sure if trolls heal better than humans after drawing blood in combat unless it's an especially nasty wound or if Hussie just doesn't draw all those details.
Having said that, when she was in robot form, Aradia had a noticeable scar across her heart from where she tore the chassis open and ripped the heart out of it.
In Thurlow's particular locale, tattoos are mostly associated with zailors (like sailors, but on the Unterzee) and spies. They had to agree to get something tattooed in order to get out of the tattoo parlour where they were spying on the other clients without completely blowing their cover, so they now have a tattoo of a nonexistent aunt. They've also got a rather large bite scar on their left forearm, and while they'll accumulate quite a lot of scars as they move through canon they have yet to acquire most of them at this point. (Their future also contains more tattoos.)

He's got multiple gunshot wound and knife wound scars on his torso, shoulders, legs, and MOST noticeably the scar on his left cheek from his father.
Basically, dude doesn't walk around shirtless much. (But oooh when he does...)

Dixie: Has a scar in a place only Brisco's seen.
Juliet: Nope.
Eponine: Nope.
Pinkie Pie: I guess her cutie mark might count.
