Jess ran; dodging and leaping. There was no way this wannabe Iron Fist was getting away from her.

Quin knew that with the Force, gravity was an illusion.

Ethan stood frozen and gasp jawed at as the masked man leap from boulder to boulder as light as a dancer. Far too late he remembered he had a gun.

Hank watched Master Lee and yet again couldn't help but wonder if the man were a mutant after all.

Andrea took careful aim as the man soared across the small chasm. Yeah, yeah. You are mighty warrior. Quick like grasshopper. Let's see you stop this bullet.

Pam folded her arms and stared unimpressed as Eric scaled the boulders and leaped over the river to the other side.

"Showoff," she muttered.

And she crossed the footbridge that was just three feet away.

This made me smile.

Civilization is just another survival mechanism, remember that. As much as civilization likes to pretend it opposes the wilderness, it can only build on top of it. The land is still wild, and man is still wild.
