DE:
OK, I loved yesterday's DE and it sort of makes me want a circus/midway AU for Milliways.
Onto to today's topic, from
shinyhappygoth, some heavy lifting today.
I've been reading Isaac Asimov's Black Widowers stories, so: How do you justify your existence?

Andrea: To be the shield between magic and those who can't defend themselves. Kind of like Shephard up there.
Ethan: Not so sure he even thinks about it to be honest. Maybe to give and show kindness where ever he can.
Brimstone: Spoiler.
Hank and Lady Trent care less about justifying their existence and more about finding answers to their burning curiosity.
Quin: I am a tool of the Force and a father. What more reason do I need?

But seriously, she exists because she's a survivor. She wanted life, and she got it.
She also exists to be more fabulous than you, but that goes without saying.

Eric exists because he loves life. And that is why it pisses him off no end, when Pearse Harmann claims that he is dead. He is not.
He also exists to avenge the death of his family and to continue Godric's line.
And because Godric was alone.
And because Pam.
Just.

Fairy Fixit: "It's better than the alternative, I suppose. The transition to another state is quite difficult, so I have never tried, to be honest. I have no memories of being in another state. though I suppose it would be impossible to have them anyhow. ... It is a bit irresponsible of me to say that existence is better than non-existence, isn't it?" she answers, deep in thought.
"Wait! This is one of philosophical questions. I always take those questions too seriously." she continues. "You are asking if I have a purpose in life? If I achieved something grand? Yes? No? Well, not one grand thing. A lot of tiny somethings though. Perhaps someone later will take what I have done and make something grand of it. It might be something that might have been impossible if it weren't for what I've done, or maybe something I did made that grand thing easier to do. Or it could be the opposite. Grand things can be good or bad. Helping grand things happen is just as good as stopping other grand things, is it not? I am not the person right now who does grand things; I just help some things happen and halt other things. That may not be a purposeful enough life by your standards but I am not going to take credit for other people's work."

Earl: "I support and evangelize the myriad fine food trucks and roadside diners, back alley cafés and push carts, of the known and sometimes unknown world. Also, I suspect there's a tshirt factory in China that is grateful for my patronage."
Vlad: "I do not need to justify my existence. That I exist is justification enough."
Alex: "Funny you should ask..."

Juliet's is to be the best and nicest cop ever.
Dixie's is to entertain. Thoroughly.
Pinkie's is to make people happy.
Eponine's is to save Marius' life.
