I mostly took the week off using a convenient excuse of work being understaffed; which was true, but I think I really did need the time away as words have been hard for me to find lately.
Wingy and I started a train wreck with Noriko striking Autor which appears to be wrapping up. Thank you to everyone who participated! You all are awesome!
As I've been laboring through a difficult OOM for Sunshine this week, little!Sunshine met a shivering, wet monk and introduced him to coffee, and tiny!Rae got help on her math homework from Autor and Dorian, and introduced Dorian Gray to pizza. ^_^
For the first time in entirely too long, I gave Zelgadiss an EP. In a strange reversal of normalcy, Autor respects his personal boundaries and they have a decent conversation, and it is Lucas who immediately prods at the chimera's major sore spot despite knowing it's neither kind nor smart to do so.
In other geekery news, my brothers' crocheted viking helmets are coming along swimmingly, my boyfriend is playing FFVII for the first time ever and just got through the end of Disc 1 (he somehow had survived as a geek for the past 17 years without knowing the major spoiler there, and I lauuuughed and lauuuughed at his devastation), and I'm thinking of sponsoring an inscribed brick at the Tesla Science Center in Yrael's name, just as an everlasting in-joke. ^_^
Hee, crocheted viking helmets. That immediately brought to mind this pic of Alexander Skarsgard wearing one and not much else. (Actually it's okay, he'swearing shorts.)

That being said, a wild Kate Daniels appeared and I've been enjoying throwing Andrea her way.

Brothers both wanted Hobbit-style beards with their horned helmet-hats. I'm making them in this style; Jim wants a red beard, and Joe wants a blond.

And we all know what they say about men with huge boots ....

I kept waiting for Athelstan to experience a caffeine (and sugar) high for the first time-that would've been hilarious to read.
sorry about that, wrong journal
