There's totally not at all any foods I associate with Sunshine. >_> *lies* (coughcoughcoughcinnamonrollscough) Though really, just about any comforting baked good, and any sufficiently creative vegetarian dish will make it onto my list of "Sunshine would make this" foods.

I associate fish dishes, particularly sashimi, with Yrael. Natch. ^_^

"Duster Loves Cheese!"

An actual battle quote if you have Duster eat the Peculiar Cheese item, thus recovering more health than if he didn't.

Other playable characters like cheese, but everyone remembers Duster more since he's a permanent party member. Personally, I associate the "_____ loves cheese!" line with the first controllable character in the game, but this has been become a huge meme among the Mother 3 fanbase that everyone accepts that cheese is Duster's favorite food.

My headcanon is that he usually prefers simple food, like bread, but he'd sometimes eat diner food like burgers and shakes on special days, as that's what the clubs his band used to play at offered.

Of course I would associate German food with the Emcee. I actually do like the taste of sauerkraut and enjoy a nice meaty bratwurst now and then. This is not meant to sound dirty.

For those of you not familiar with the canon, it's basically Spam. Only it's Spam that was put into the can sometime before October 23rd of 2077 as rations for people living in long-term fallout shelters. Ellen considers it comfort food, but feels a bit guilty about eating it at Milliways- when we had the Band of Brothers guys in the Bar, Bill Guarnere made her promise to at least try and eat more normal food, since he didn't like the idea of a future where Americans ate that kind of canned crap on purpose.

Eriond... no, I don't really associate anything with him, except to note juice or milk instead of alcohol for him, which is Notable for a Male Figure in Eddings, because Eddings sucks that way.

Lois I associate with a few things: alcohol, specific subcategory of tequila if done in shots; coffee, subcategory strong and black; and pastries in general, but particularly maple-frosted donuts. These are all basically or explicitly canon.

Tavi I really only have a Milli-canon association with: I decided to let him have a taste for chocolate, and he somehow developed an addiction to Copper Isles Red Griffin tea out of the Tortall universe. Blame Alanna for treating him to the extremely-caffeinated drink.

Oddly enough, and completely disregarding the journal I'm logged into, I associate a lot of Moroccan food with Ganymede. It has the sort of...old, old-world qualities to it that seem like him? Specifically cracked wheat salad, and pomegranate arils.

I know they don't feature in his myth. So sue me.

Noriko gets less Japanese food than you'd think, because she gets by on a loooooot of quickly-made, quickly-eaten street food-y things. She does like green and white tea of various non-flowery descriptions, though.

I am working hard to get my brain going this morning, so I think answering a DE could help. And this one is easy, so... laaa?

Bill Pardy - M&M's, pie, cake, beer and Coke. These are all Milli-canon except for the beer. He has a major sweet tooth so really anything candy or baked goods related belongs to Bill.

Hellboy - Baby Ruth candy bars, pamcakes and Tecate cerveza. Those are both canon. Headcanon wise he has become very fond of tiny sammiches.

Charlie Kenton - Stale beer: canon. Road food and hamburgers: based on canon.

Logan - beer. Canon.

Thor: MEAD. Alcoholic drinks in general, especially in company (and at Milliways, there's lots of Earth alcohol which for him is like interesting-tasting water unless he's knocking back barrels of it.) Coffee, spiked or not, as a newly discovered tasty thing. Food-wise, anything hearty he'll go for, but I like entertaining myself by coming up with different combinations that suit the Asgardian palate versus tasting kind of weird and/or foreign to him.

Enjolras: Coffee. Which is semi-canon: we know he spends a lot of time in cafés and drinks alcohol very minimally, so it seems the obvious conclusion. Food-wise, I don't have any strong associations, although I do try to keep in mind what would have been normal food for him and what would be unfamiliar.

Cosette: Tea, coffee, wine, cocoa -- I'm still figuring out her regular order, but she's also delighted by the variety of Milliways, and often picks something just to be surprised by it. I do a lot of having her order fresh fruit that's not in season at home or at Milliways, because she's from an era where you did not get fresh things out of season and she finds it exciting every time.

Trowa: Decaf coffee, lemonade, juice. Sandwiches, I guess? His sister likes making soups and casseroles and such at home -- room for creativity, but hearty and without a lot of prep time needed. He goes for quick food that has a good bit of protein, and tends to have lots of small meals rather than a big one, because he's a professional acrobat.

River: Bubble tea and smoothies, especially in bright colors. Dumplings. Fresh fruit. Lots of finger food. (Mostly not canon, except the part about fresh fruit and vegetables being hard to get by normal means on a spaceship -- canon gives us tea and lots of flavored protein.)

Regan: Jasmine tea. Dumplings, maybe, but she doesn't tend to eat at Milliways, because I often send her here in the late evening.

Clare: Barely eats. I tend to give her little bread rolls or pastries or dumplings or whatever when she does.

There's no foods canonically associated with mine. Well, Evil Chicken is associated with the Crème Brûlée Supreme dish in game, but that is because an egg from the Evil Chicken is one of the ingredients. Well, Evil chicken drops raw chicken when you kill him/her, so, there is that too.

I associate Fairy Fixit with strongly fruity and strongly boozy milkshakes.

Amascut lieks feesh. In particular, Caldo de pescado Veracruzano. It is a red, spicy soup/stew with so many varieties of seafood thrown in omg. Also, she has a Millicanonical addiction to chocolate, so, Chocolate Bombs

Headcanon says that Mark likes ice cream floats made with Coke and chocolate ice cream. His mother makes casseroles a lot, if the art in the early issues is to be trusted (it may be that Ryan Ottley just didn't know how to draw food at the time).

Why Nani continues to supply the house with coffee throughout the course of the films (Jumba and Pleakley are both seen taking it with breakfast in the sequel) is a mystery for the ages. Maybe she's a java addict? Because if there's one thing Nani needs it's another source of nervous energy. Wait.

Lesgle and Joly are having a lovely June breakfast of oysters, cheese, and ham before Lamarque's funeral. Then Grantaire shows up and everyone knocks back a few bottles of wine apiece, which activates Bossuet's plot-advancing, bus-stealing, and barricade-building superpowers.

Now at Milliways he's just working his way through whatever the hell Bar feels like giving him. So many discoveries! Like these amazing croissant things that the guys just missed becoming the big thing in Paris!

Oswin/Clara: Souffles. It goes back (really) to Clara's mom's souffle recipe, and the borderline hero worship Clara has of her mum and her problems with her stepmum and yeah that got echoed across time and space, awesome.

Jemma: This is total head-canon that appeared in a fic but a ham and cheddar cheese sandwich on rye with spicy mustard. I totally believe that Fitz and Simmons each have a sandwich the other one knows to make in times of stress. It's a stress sandwich of awesome.

Katya: Vodka and pelmeni - the vodka is vaguely canon, the rest is totally made up. :D

Blakeney: I don't really have one for him - it'd probably help if I played him more often, no?

Ace: Chocolate alcohol, which is so millicanon and nothing else, and cookies which is Raven's fault.

Balthazar: Tea. I love that he's dressed like a hobo, doing the traditional training montage thingy, sipping tea from a very delicate teacup.

Glorfindel: Headcanon, he has been Elrond's emmisary and message-carrier to the Greenwood enough times that he's developed a decided taste for Dorwinion. There has to be some benefits to braving the spiders, right?

Sam: Coq au vin... without the vin, as it's her father's recipe and her dad's a teetotaler. It's pretty much the one thing besides 'tinned thing mixed with other tinned thing' that she knows how to make. She will, however, eat any food that is left alone long enough, so there's that.

Michael - Yogurt. Seriously, it's the perfect spy food in canon. Headcanon is that he'll try anything once and doesn't really fear the local cuisine - even if he's not on earth. Also, beer and whiskey.

Gus - All the food. Canon the list is a bit exhaustive, but most notably; jerk chicken, pineapple, candy, Hanover pretzels, Frosties, pie, anything from a food truck, and takeout. For drinks he likes tea and fruity umbrella drinks.
