DE: Just a face in the crowd

How does your pup feel about being in large groups of people? Do they just deal with it, dread it, or engage the crowd on some level?

The Master of Ceremonies is an entertainer, so he loves large groups of people and attracting attention. He has no problem engaging with crowds and strangers. For example during the nightly shows at the Kit Kat klub, he'll improvise and interact with audience members, flirting and joking with them or bringing people up onstage to dance. His style is not to command/demand their attention, but to be alluring enough so that they don't take their eyes off of him.

Amascut is one who can literally disappear in a crowd. She hasn't done so, but I would hate to see what she could do by manipulating groupthink. She already tends to force crowds to keep their eyes off of her.

A glaring of cats is a different story, though. Crowds of her ex-followers and their progeny are resistant to her manipulations and have reasons to hate her and undying spite, etc, etc. She can't tell which cats are 'hers' and which aren't, so.

Fairy Fixit spends most of her time alone. I figure that she isn't attracted to crowds, at least, and that she appreciates space and breathing room. She can fly above a crowd if she needs to do so.

Thor: Used to it; used to standing out in the crowd. Just as used to being in front of the crowd as being part of it.

Enjolras: Used to it, and frequently energized by it. Willing to stand up to lead if need be, but would rather be part of the general hum.

Cosette: She finds it exciting up to a point, and then a little overwhelming; she's used to quiet. Hasn't quite decided if she likes crowds or not. (She doesn't, but she likes a sociable roomful.)

Trowa: Used to it, and used to disappearing in a crowd. He finds them useful more than actively liking it -- he doesn't have a strong preference, but it doesn't energize him, and he does like having solitary time to space it out.

Clare: Can deal, but finds it kind of overwhelming, especially if she's expected to actually interact with anyone.

River: Depends a lot on her mood and the day. She likes people, but she's often not wild about big crowds.

Regan: Much like her daughter, but without the psychic stuff that pushes River over the edge into being overwhelmed sometimes. She's willing to be in front of a crowd -- although, unlike Thor, she doesn't have any bone-deep expectation about standing out if she's not on a podium with cameras on her or something -- and certainly willing to go shopping in one or whatever (at least before she started living the constantly bodyguarded life), but she'd rather a smaller group or a quieter street.

Will enjoys crowds, he grew up on the streets of Nottingham so he's comfortable around them but he also loves the quiet of being on his own.

Charles, it depends on the feeling of the crowd. If they're in a good mood and generally pleasant such as Milliways normally is, he'll happily sit and let the minds flow over him. But when things start to get nervous and stressful, he needs to find a space to be on his own or else all of the worried minds will get to him.

Ivan enjoys crowds, he's someone who goes to parties with pleasure and enjoys being out and about.

Moist adores crowds, he's a performer and loves knowing how to use a crowd, this is a huge part of his success in canon. He knows when to appear and when to disappear.

William doesn't like crowds a lot, they make him nervous. He prefers the quiet of being on his own as a lot of people get him wondering what will go wrong. This is because most of the large crowds that he spent time in growing up were never about anything good; looking over casualty lists, waiting to hear the news from the war, that sort of thing.

Jane enjoys crowds, she loves watching people and seeing all the various currents and interactions, they inspire her.

Sameth doesn't like crowds, he tends to feel like he's on display and not doing a good job. He'd much rather be hiding in his workroom.

Demeter doesn't like crowds, they can be overwhelming and they remind her of what used to be too, the great festivals that don't happen anymore.

Tumnus gets nervous in crowds, he likes parts of them, seeing everyone happy but he's someone who's happiest with a few people he trusts.

The Pirate King adores crowds as he gets to show off in them.

Gene - doesn't give them a second thought. He goes to the footy whenever he can, and actively enjoys being part of crowd cheering his team on. At work, he only minds if people are getting in the way of the crime scene/stopping him doing his job. Everyone tends to get out of his way when he tells them to anyway, so he doesn't care who's around one way or the other.

Javert - doesn't care. Paris is crowded; he deals with it. Despite being an entirely solitary man, it doesn't actively bother him to deal with groups of people. He does his job regardless, and he's another who can make people go away just by looking at them, so he doesn't think a anything of them.

Valjean - actively avoids people in any number whenever he can. But that doesn't mean he dreads groups, per say. He was the mayor of a town; he hangs out with Marius's family whenever Cosette's visiting him. He just does what he has to do. It's simply that when he doesn't have to be near other people, he doesn't. He walks alone, he lives in a secluded street where no people go, he talks to no one. Such is life on the run for him, along with his desire to retreat from men to be with God. :\

Courfeyrac - loves groups, loves crowds, has no qualms about standing up and addressing roomfuls of people/his friends at length about whatever's on his mind. He's gregarious and outgoing, social to a fault.

Bruce Wayne - has lived much of his life in the media spotlight. Couldn't avoid groups if he wanted to, so he does. But most of what he deems his 'real' life is locked away, both physically and inside him, so he can always retreat to that if necessary.

Bruce Banner - actively avoids them these days, in case something happens or the stress makes him lose control. Even before the Hulk, I suspect his preference would be for a lab - but even there he'd be with others a lot of the time, and he's used to teaching students.

Robin - completely social creature, due to medieval times being generally more built around community rather than isolation. He's a soldier and a leader, so well accustomed to being around groups of people. He's reserved in some ways, but fine with hanging out with others too.

Clementine: Tries to pull stupid stunts to gain her audience's attention.

Dixie: Is also used to being the center of attention but is very good at blending in and being gregarious.

Juliet: Automatically goes into protection mode.

Eponine: Feels fairly invisible in the first place and thus blends in and becomes a listener.

Pinkie Pie: Loves watching people have lots of fun in large groups, and can either lead the fun or watch it.
