The scatteredness of Chi, aka, summary of last night.

Ok, here's my attempt at summarization Chiana's invovement with last night and linking. Yay! I understand how to do it now. *was very ignorant before.* It's posted at Chiana's journal, in case you weren't involved or really want to see how I did. The post was all pretty and in neat little lines but for some reason it went all to paragraph form when posted. Anyone know why it does this? I really would like to fix it.

[Third try at getting this to display correctly. Will delete previous two comments if this one works right.]

OK, I'm not an expert on this (obviously!), but I'd suggest the following:

When you update your journal, check to see if the Entry box has a bunch of buttons above it, or these words below it:
(HTML okay; by default, newlines will be formatted to <br> - or, use the rich text mode.)
If you see that message below the Entry box (and if Text Formatting is set to Auto, lower down on the page), then the final post should start a new line for each time you press your Enter key while you are typing the entry. (If you just let the text wrap around inside the Entry box, it will wrap automatically in the final post, too.) If you want to force a new line, you can also enter <br> which is an HTML code for line break. You can check your work by clicking Preview.

BUT, if you see the buttons showing above the Entry box, instead of the message below it, then you are in rich text mode, and someone else will need to advise you how to format things, because I never saw that mode until now.

Hope that helps!
