Sunshine liked (and likes) fairy tales quite a bit, and memorized lots of them so she could tell her little brothers stories when they got old enough to listen. Her favorite fairy tale has always been Beauty and the Beast.

She also likes legends and mythology, a particular millicanoned favorite is the story of Lady Aerin Firehair of Damar, who is actually the subject of a book by the same author as Sunshine's canon.

Ellen loved her comic books. Any intact, or even only-intact-enough-to-be-legible, comic books that could be scared up in Vault 101 were fair game; while the game only mentions Grognak the Barbarian comics existing in the Vault I've Millicanoned that a few other comics from the same company existed there too, so she spent a lot of time as a little kid reading about the adventures of Drake Tungsten, the Chrono-Cowboy and the somewhat perplexing superhero known as Manta Man. (When you only have one issue from midway through a six-issue story arc, it doesn't really do you any favors.)

X has a mixed fondness/antipathy for Pinocchio and the Art of War, her only bedtime stories as a kid.

(A little too on the nose, Doctor Kinney? MAYBE.)

Jess loved Little Nemo.

Hank is saying either The Little Prince or Dr. Seuss' And to Think THat I Saw It on Mulberry Street.

Quinlan loved the Kiffar version of Little Bunny Follows His Nose.

Autor's literary background includes the classics like Grimm's and Hans Christian Andersen as well as Arthurian legends. But the book that dominates his life is the canonically unfinished Prince and the Raven, by Herr Drosselmeyer. Getting to know Lohengrin from it in Milliways was a dream come true.

Clementine: Cindarella.

Dixie: Also Cindarella, for different reasons. But she had to learn about it independently, because of the religious strictures.

Juliet: The Little Red Hen

Pinkie Pie: Chicken Little.

Eponine: Rapunzel.
