DE: Scents of meaning
In the October Daye book series, every fae's magic has a mostly unique scent signature. These are usually paired scents that don't always have anything to do with each other. For instance, Toby Daye's (the series' protagonist) magic smells like cut grass and copper. The scents can change somewhat, based on strength of magic or the person's heart; i.e. people who were once light but turned dark could have a corruption enter one of their scents.
With this in mind, what would your pup's scents be if they could use magic in this world?

Hank: Starched cotton and Ovaltine.
Andrea: Beef BBQ'd ribs and cordite.
Brimstone: Sulfur and apples. Don't know why the apples but okay. (I think I will make this Milli-canon for those that can smell magic.)
Ethan: Leather and either wool or the smell of the dust in South Western deserts of America.
Lady Trent: India ink and fresh paper.
Quinlan: Fresh rain and whatever air car exhaust smells like in the Star Wars universe. His actually took a minute to decide on. I can also see his scents shifting depending on how much of the Dark or Light side of the Force he is using.
Sam: Freedom and apple pie...no, wait, that's Cap. Fresh baked bread and pine smoke, or the scent you get when you iron cotton. Definitely comforting scents.
ETA: Forgot my two, hopefully new pups.
Tybalt: He is from the canon I mentioned about and his scents are pennyroyal and musk. I am not sure what pennyroyal smells like to be honest (I really need to get to an incense/fragrant oil store) but I suspect his scents are meant to be pleasing and hard to ignore, like himself.
Selina: Ginger and mint. I'm not exactly sure why.

Ok, first for my most obviously faeish sort of person. Fairy Fixit is sweet smelling fungus and ground-up teeth.
Amascut is a crematory fire and sunbleached bone. I think before her unfortunate encounter with an elder god that second one would have been the musty scent of one of the big cats.

City streets after the rain -- not clean and fresh like rain in the country, but with the feeling that not all the grime has been washed away.
Stage makeup -- that sweet scent of rouge, the vaguely powdery whiff of cold cream.

Will would be a fall forest, that crisp, spicy scent you get when the leaves are changing and worn in leather.
Charles would be earl grey tea and wool, the kind of scent you get on a tweed suit that's been worn for years.
Moist would be road dust and ink.
Ivan would be the steel like a sword and freshly brewed coffee.
Jane would be ink and tea, I'm not sure about that second one.
William would be leather, but the smell of old and heavily used leather and one of the desert flowers.
Demeter actually has a scent that I've given her, she smells like the world at its ripest and sometimes a summer storm when she's angry. Usually the smell takes the form of a wheat field ready to be harvested but I've played with it a little depending on the person and what they might identify with in terms of ripeness.
Sameth also has a slight smell from canon as Charter magic has a warm and spicy smell. I imagine that his has an underlying hint of stone to it.
Tumnus smells of fresh baked bread and pine trees.
I guess I shouldn't do the Pirate King anymore but he would smell of sea air and sherry.
And my new pup is from this world and his magic smells of heather and steel. I find the last fascinating considering how dangerous iron is to the Fae but they're more comfortable with steel. And to have it be actually part of the smell of magic feels like it has interesting meta within it.

As for the sandboxes, Makosa's magic would smell like clean, warm quilts and charcoal, with the first scent being stronger than the second.

Kreyu would smell like the sea, ever changing yet eternal.

Minx - high octane racing fuel and champagne.
Diaval - feathers and ozone.
David - humid jungle air and incense. (Especially when he's in a bad, bad mood.)
Olivier - Jasmine and steel.

Dixie: Tobacco and fine wine.
Pinkie: The sweetest, most buttery confection you can imagine.
Juliet: Gunsmoke and bubble gum.
Eponine: Cinnamon. Something hot, sharp and alarming.
