Late Saturday Entertainment
There doesn't seem to be a Weekend Entertainment up, so I thought I'd grab it. The weather here is rainy and perfect for tea, watching movies and reading books.
My question is inspired by that. What media have you been enjoying lately? I recently discovered the web series Carmilla and I'm almost finished with my reread of the October Daye days.

We're also keeping up with Sleepy Hollow, and I've been finishing up a reread of the Abhorsen series in anticipation of Clariel. :D

I've been loving Gotham and Legend of Korra. Star Wars Rebels looks really good though Disney is making it really hard to watch online (which I prefer). Agents of SHIELD and The Flash are looking good as well. RWBY continues to be awesome
I've been rereading the October Daye series as well and loving it. I'm about halfway through Chimes at Midnight.
I'm also loving a new weekly webcomic called Thunderbird, as well as Heavenly Nostrils, and Strong Female Protagonist.
And lastly, I plan on rewatching Shakespeare In Love later today.

Enjoy Shakespeare in Love, that's one of my favorite movies.

I'm also watching all the shows, old and new. Current shows include Gotham, Sleepy Hollow, Doctor Who, Boardwalk Empire, Agents of SHIELD; the first season of The Strain just finished, which was awesome (no sexy vampires there, that's for sure); and The Walking Dead starts tomorrow night.
Non-current shows include House of Cards (halfway through the 2nd season) and Hannibal (almost halfway through the 2nd season and SEEING THINGS THAT I CANNOT UNSEE D:).

I also loved the latest October Daye book. SO MUCH.
Hmmmm, what else? The Infinite Sea was pretty good, but I didn't love it like I did The 5th Wave. I'm very excited for Amy Poehler's book and the Patrick Rothfuss novella that comes out this month.
I've been enjoying a lot of new comics lately, like Rat Queens, Saga and Sex Criminals. And of course I always love Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Secret Avengers, Black Widow, She-Hulk and X-Men.
How excited am I for Fall TV? SO EXCITED. I have a very meaningful relationship with our DVR. *grins* I got addicted to The Good Wife over the summer, so I'm watching that this season, along with Sleepy Hollow, Agents of Shield, Elementary, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Gotham, Homeland, etc. I might have to break up with Doctor Who for a while. And I think Top Chef starts soon?
We tried The Flash, but the "science" broke Tony's brain. We'll have to see about that one. XD

The Lynburn Legacy books are high on my list of ones I mean to read. Yes, I'm just about to start rereading The Winter Long after rereading the rest of the series, such amazing books.

Reading: not many actual books lately, mostly fic instead. I bought a book about baseball for researchy purposes but have only gotten a few pages in--something about printed books just doesn't hold my attention anymore. I blame the internets for ruining my attention span. (Besides, who wants to read when there's writing to do?)
Movies: I have found that well-choreographed violence is a great way to unwind after work, and lately my action hero of choice has been Jason Statham. I enjoy his brand of action, as whackadoodle as it can be.
Podcasts: these preserve my sanity during the work day. Besides WTNV, I am particularly fond of How Did This Get Made?, A Matter of Taste, Scriptnotes, Dead Authors Podcast, James Bonding, and The Greg Proops Film Club. Why yes, I do enjoy listening to other people talk about movies.

I don't normally marathon TV shows like that, but everyone was out, so.
