dinner and a show

So, Joly and Autor have been batting around the idea of a Milliways theater to host plays and performances. They're still hammering out details, but I'm posting here to gauge interest and/or bounce ideas off of everyone.

Are there any theater-minded pups/muns that would be interested in a casting call once Joly and Autor figure out the stage + piece they'd be putting on?

I think CharlieQuestion would be interested in trying on masks beyond those he usually wears.

Well of course Joly's in, in whatever capacity he can manage. Whiiiich may be best reserved for behind-the-scenes stuff, but hey, I'm prepared to subject him to Rule of Funny.

Oh man...okay my head canon for Selina is that she was studying dance before her life went pear-shaped and her mom disappeared. So she's an interested once she trusts Milliways.

Also, Tybalt, aka Rand currently, *loves* mortal plays, especially Shakespeare. I think his younger self could be convinced to help out some how.

Fantastic! We'll fit them in somehow. A Shakespeare play would be Autor's pick, though I don't know if we'll rope in enough people to pull one off.

Quentin would be wary but curious. Toby and Tybalt are always quoting Shakespeare but I don't know how comfortable he would be on stage.

I think Jane would have an amazing time with it and this might give me a chance to do more with her.

I have to think on the others.

Oh gad, so much. Unless we want to go super-minimalist. If Joly's the prop department alone,this will be an unusually lab-like setting for almost any play.

Thor could probably be talked into acting, and would have a blast doing it. :D

Enjolras is solidly in an "I'm glad this pleases you" place, but Pilf (Joly-mun) has already informed me that Joly is totally going to try to rope him in, and will probably succeed to some degree because friendship and community-building and friendship. (He would be a truly godawful actor unless you want him to give a political speech he agrees with onstage, but he could do some kind of behind-the-scenes organizing.)

While I would love Cosette to participate, I'm pretty sure it's insufficiently Respectable for her to throw herself into something like this in a mixed-gender group of strangers just yet. She'd totally come watch a performance, though. Possibly a conversation with someone would lead to some kind of minor contribution, but who knows.

ohmigosh an ampitheater. YES. Mun is not nearly ambitious enough to have considered something on this scale, but Joly SO would.

The Balladeer is basically a literal omnipresent narrator, so he may just show up if anything like that's required.
