This seems to be a week for OOMs, but October does inspire them with Conversations with Dead People. I'm feeling happy as I found a local comics' store and just introduced my family to GalaxyQuest which they enjoyed. Now these are some of my favorite reads, but you have to tell me yours.

I love Joly, his joie de vivre is wonderful to see and there's a great humor and honesty in all his threads.

Enjolras, he's a tough character and I have such love and respect for how he's pulled off and the threads he creates. Also the Halloween tree and gifts are genius.

Beverly Katz, who is brilliant and complicated.

And I don't normally add these but I'm proud of Quentin's Conversation with Dead People, new pups can be great for getting creative juices flowing.

I've been loving all the Emcee activity. It's all good but I'll link to the EP that caught my attention first.

And I try not to shout out my own stuff, but Char had a song on Autor's tipsy EP with Bonnie that I have to give extra kudos to. Had I a drink in my hand, I would have snorted it.

Joly tending Bar is great.
And I feel I ought to mention, that these days, coffee punch is made like this.

You drop a coin into a cup of black coffee. Then you pour aquavit into the cup till you can clearly see the coin. And then you top up with some more coffee. Which sounds a bit like what he and Thor are doing :)

I've really been enjoying Ellen Park's turn at the bar; seeing what people consider self-taught is so great.

And the canon-puncture over on the two-mun thread (it's been a good week for those!) between Teja and Valjeanis really interesting to watch!

(also watching Teja and Bossuet very solemnly discuss cat adoptions has been hilarious.)
