DE: The mindkiller

What scares your character? I'm aiming more for what sort of things would a haunted house need to contain to give them the shivers rather than life fears, but your milage may vary. = ]

Ellen is scared as hell of heights and still has agoraphobia fits on a regular basis; she's just very very good at keeping them tamped down and out of sight.

Shephard is afraid of clowns, flying, and the winged monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. Also his momma when she's angry but that's like saying you're afraid of what happens when you pet a blue ringed octopus- that's not fear, that's just good sense.

Varric is not exactly afraid of being underground but he really, really doesn't like it. Yes, I know, dwarf.

Edward's afraid of tropical storms, because he's a sailor in 1715 and they are bigger and meaner than he is.

Stacker... is mostly afraid that I won't get off my ass and contact the other Pacific Rim muns and get us going on that AU we were planning. I'm so sorry.

I am not sure what Santo is afraid of. he only shows fear in a handful of his movies and I haven't seen them yet. Maybe being shot; he occasionally does secret agent and anti-crime work and wrestling isn't much good against someone with a revolver fifty yards away.

Bossuet would have so much fun getting scared silly at a haunted house. He'd let himself get terrified by everything--ghosts, werewolves, axe murderers, skeletons, spiders, spooky lights and noises. As far as real fears go, though, there's not much that he's bothered by. Sensible things, of course: cholera, for instance, is pretty damned scary. Police rounding up his friends is another reasonable fear. Although--he was genuinely spooked by seeing the changes to Paris in 2014. The cars really rattled him, too.

Gredya is a weird mix of fear and stoicism. As far as she's concerned everything is a threat; she comes from a place with rocs and griffins and lots of things that can kill you pretty hard. And anything that hints at a loss of control freaks her out. Hell, you could make a pretty effective haunted house for her just by shutting her up in an enclosed space. (insert pratchett-style reference to werewolves and baths here) But she's very brave about dealing with things that frighten her.

Will is scared of being trapped and hanging.

Charles' fears are a bit more existential, being alone or being lost somewhere that he can't find his way back.

Quentin is scared of iron, being shot and Toby dying.

William's biggest fears are sickness especially TB and losing people he loves.

Sameth used to fear Death the most, he still does but its not as big.

Ivan fears enclosed dark spaces.

Jane fears not having control of her life.

Demeter would rather be feared but not knowing where Kore is, is her biggest one.

Tumnus fears losing time again like he did as a statue.

There's a point in his canon where the party experiences some of their worst psychological fears. For Duster, he's afraid of his father when he's upset or angry at him, but there's also the dread of his father guilt-tripping Duster and having him stay with his dad and act out his wishes even after all his verbal abuse.

For a haunted house, chimeras (especially large, carnivorous ones) are always good. They fought them throughout Mother 3, but they'll always be a symbol of what they fought against. Creepy cyborgs and operations are also scary.

Clementine: Very little, but death, losing friends and being caught doing something she perceives as wrong all ranks.

Dixie: Again, very little. loss and death rank, of course.

Pinkie: Losing all of her friends - this is canon!

Juliet: Seeing Yang again.

Eponine: Having to endure further degradation and abuse.
