Of course I'm going to say Emcee and Eric, the pairing that was never meant to happen. Also never meant to happen is the friendship between Emcee and Sam Stewart.

Emerging ships that I've been threadstalking taking note of: Autor and Mirai; Tahno and Oswin; Gredya and Father Harman (lulz).

It's easier just to name the people Mirai finds the least unpleasant. Which is longer than I expected, actually, but the top of that list is Autor, Joly, and Eric.

Autor approves of Mirai, Lohengrin, Rae, Oswin, Yugo, Joly, Katya, and Shufti--which is a longer list than I thought it'd be! I also like Autor-Hannibal threads, though they're not exactly BFFs.

X/Bruce is also a favorite of mine, as well as Emcee/Eric, Jay and Rae, Yrael and Hannibal, Raven and Coyote, and Joly and Bossuet.

With my own characters:

Thor and X's friendship brings me NEVERENDING DELIGHT. Trowa and X's very different friendship likewise. Enjolras-Nataliya makes me cackle forever and also breaks my heart a bit; Enjolras and all the other Amis is a friends group that of course comes pre-installed, but all the other muns are wonderful and I love it forever, and I love the post-death Milliways nuances to Enjolras-Grantaire. River/Duo is a pairing I didn't really expect but I love them. River and Galadan's relationship also I love to tiny, sharp-edged pieces. (If I start on River's friendships I'm gonna be here all day. River-Roland, River-Crowley, River-Anthy, and on and on.) Thor's mentoring friendship with Ellen Park I didn't expect, and really really love. Clare-Grantaire and Clare-Ambriel: her two friends that she might call by that name, and they couldn't be more different but I love both friendships. I know I'm forgetting a bunch! And that's restricting myself to my current roster, too, because there are a bunch of relationships with retired characters I really love.
