Stealing a topic from years ago, originally presented by

Your character opens the door to leave Milliways only to find out that, for whatever reason, it doesn't open onto their world but instead dumps them into someone else's for a time. Kind of like the Stone Angels plot from a few years back only no angels involved. Where do they end up and how long do you imagine they last before either escaping to Milliways or deciding 'ooh, mama/papa/mitotic or other parent of indeterminate sex/gender like'?

Quinlan would adapt to just about any world as well, though he would never stop looking for a way back. I think a world where he had to not be jedi-like would be the hardest for him to adapt to.
Ethan is another survivor but I think Ellen's world would seriously mess with his perceptions of the world. I need to dust him off and bring him in.
Tybalt would have a hard time in any high tech world that used lots of iron. He has enough trouble with our world's technology. Cars are not his thing. To be fair, he was born centuries before the internal combustion engine and cars have claimed far too many of his subjects.
Andrea would adapt pretty well also. She had fun in Ellen's world if that is any indication.
Hank McCoy (whom I actually have an answer for this time) would likely do very well to see the Marvel Comics X-verse and the affect his counterpart has had on the world.

If she ended up in Jay's world, he'd make sure she was set up and meeting the right people to make sure she survived and prospered.

And now I'm kind of picturing wee Selina meeting grownup crime boss Selina from the recent issues of Catwoman. I'm honestly not sure what my Selina would think of herself.

No, I think Jay would make sure to keep Cat away from Sel. World shattering paradoxes and all that.

Fairy Fixit would probably do well in any universe except where magic (or pure free-flowing life force as canon might be slowly revealing) is strictly verboten. In some universes she might have to go into hiding, especially if there is Final Fantasy VI style magitek present that she might be crammed into to serve as a power source. Ugh. But, she'll find some way to be useful.
And honestly, if a way back to Milliways or Zanaris doesn't present itself, she'll MacGyver her way back as one of her projects to keep herself busy, given enough time. She definitely has time; Zanaris fairies are very long lived.

Sherral would immediately start searching for ways to utilise the world's resources in order to accrue personal power that he can take back to his own world. I'm not saying he's power hungry or anything, but I am saying we can never allow him to be within fifty feet of red lyrium.
Wan would just - do what he usually does. Befriend people. Throw fire at things. Drink tea. Try to help out. He's fairly adaptable.

But if I were going to drop Asami somewhere, it would be some super high tech futuristic time. I've thought about what a far-in-the-future sci-fi version of the Avatarworld might look like, or it could be some other universe - unsurprisingly, given all the thematic connections Avatar has to it, I could see her easily fitting into the Star Wars-universe.
Will thinks communing with wolves sounds pretty good, tbh, so maybe I haven't changed much.
Though FYI if anyone ever wants to follow Marceline back to Ooo this is an open invitation because regardless of who it is it would be hilarious.
