mistletoe!
As you've no doubt noticed, the rats (or Magic Plot Fairies) have put mistletoe up in the bar.
Autor found himself stuck under some, and Athelstan quickly followed suit. Now Ava is being chased around by some she tried to burn, and Sunshine is stuck in the kitchens.
So what's going on? Mistletoe is a Christmas tradition where two people who meet under it should kiss. It's also a fine tradition of Milliways' cracky plots. The bar takes this a step further, rooting people in place until they're kissed, or sticking people together.
The bar's mistletoe isn't really a plot, but it's open for anyone to play with, as far as I understand. The rats can put it up anywhere you'd like your pup to be stuck. Whether their freedom is gained by a kiss to the hand, cheek, or lips is up to you. As it's a Christmas tradition, the mistletoe should only last for the month.
