So, between classes and work I couldn't take it anymore and called in sick yesterday. It was better than a full on panic attack at work, or you know throwing a fit and punching things, or barfing. So, I did get some homework done, and my spinning is getting a little better.
Also this happened, and Atlantean apparently can get Death drunk.
Tegid should be heading back to his world soon, and it will be difficult for him, but it is necessary.
Also, if you want to try throwing him at a Celtic god in the coming week, I've a Manannan in the test drive Weekend DE or over at mixed_muses. I'm not likely to play much today but should be able tomorrow.
... I don't know how to explain it other than it is there. The author is a known Christian, and several of his series have Christian overtones. However, it isn't shoehorned into the Otherworld, it is something that happens at the end of the story.... I can't tell you too much without giving too much away. Good book series though.
I also, will warn you that the in the first book, there are some food descriptions that make me super hungry, and I have to go all nutty and cook a feast.
I also must let you know that I read these, for the first time, when I was in High School about 15 years ago. I've had to reread them recently, so I might think them really good, when others might find them stupid. >.>
Golden. I will see if I am up for tagging in a few hours. Had a teeth cleaning this morning and now I am caring for a sick daughter who doesn't want to do her homework.
I want to highlight Autor's completely awful week. Autor saw Fakir through his initiation as a Spinner (writer with the power to make stories come true). In the process, Autor realized that he himself was not a Spinner, and perhaps might never be. Then a Story punched him in the gut.
Thanks for being awesome, Cass! It's... er... a pleasure breaking your character's heart? Or something.
*blushes* Oh, my goodness, thank you for threading and being equally awesome! His heart will mend--but yes, it has been a pleasure breaking it with you, too.
ETA: Now that I can do proper html, I would be remiss if I didn't bring up Fakir's triumphant return to bar after becoming a Spinner! Congratulations to him, and that has been a fun EP to stalk.

In other news, I'm pushing Cat into her next bit of canon and both Jay and Gavroche are very upset with things occurring in Gotham right now.
I have other irons in the fire (mystic plot finger waving) but they're not ready for posting yet.

Hey, maybe Tegid will get a canon mate. Llew already knows about Milliways.
