Welcome to the weekend and the new DE suggestion box! With the recent restructuring backstage, I realized it made more sense to have the backroom host the suggestion box rather than my own personal journal...just in case I get kidnapped by space pirates or faeries.

I will be updating the link on my page, adding a link to this in the old suggestion box, and I believe a link will be added to the backroom and/or a tag will be added to this post to make it easy to find.

I will, of course, use the entries that are currently in the old box and give credit, but please make any new suggestions here from now on.

What quote from another canon (as opposed to say, song choices) also sums up your pup? Bonus points for (SFW) visual references!

For example, for my Molly (cute_bruiser): Stitch's Pre-Ass-Kicking One-Liner "ALSO CUTE AND FLUFFY!" from Lilo and Stitch.

Had this idea today when I was staring at the fridge, willing food to appear after already opening it several times and not finding anything I felt like eating in it:

What's on your pup's fridge? Delivery pizza magnets? Some wee one's finger painting? Picture's from around the world?

And no cheating by playing the 'my pup is from a time/place/realm of existence that doesn't have refrigerators' card. This is Milliways, they're bound to have a room and that's gotta have some sort of chillbox in it. Or there must be some sort of equivalent that could count here.

If the world were ending tomorrow, who would your character want to spend their last night with?

(I know a lot of characters here would be interested in preventing this, so for the sake of this question, I'd say you can either think of this as who would they want to go into battle with, or assume that this kind of world-ending is absolutely unavoidable, and it's accepted that any attempt to stop it would be futile.)

Since we talked about books today (6/4) I got to thinking about why I don't read novels as much as I used to: it's because I'm too busy reading fanfiction.

So in that vein, what fanfiction about your character or canon do you recommend? What do you want to see portrayed in fic?

Breaking the fourth wall: what do your pups think of other pups' canons? What if they watched the movie or TV show that someone else came from, or read their comic books, or played their video game?

In the spirit of the various "incorrect[canon]quotes" blogs on Tumblr, post a quote that isn't from your pup's canon, but sounds like it should be. If you can't think of anything, just post in your pup and let other people suggest incorrect quotes!

*scratches chin* I can't remember whether Don already put this up, but I'd be inclined to if it wasn't so vague. Are the pups supposed to respond to any kind of DE in particular, or is it like a pup-specific fourth-wall break?

In Inside Out, everyone is governed by five primary emotions: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger. While all of them work together to shape someone's personality, one or two emotions usually dominate. (And they can manifest in less straightforward ways -- Sadness may show up as being very concerned about others, Anger as being passionate, and Fear or Disgust as self-preservation.) So which emotion, or emotions, dominate your character's head?

Canon Redemption the IC Edition

Post in with your pups who want to play and people can ask them their burning questions about canon and the pups will answer. Questions can be about plot holes, unexplained happenings, motivations, or whatever, and the pup's answers can either be thought out and explained (and of course the answers can be your own headcanon), or not! However they'd like to answer.

For example:

Q: Bruce, how in the world did you get back to Gotham after climbing out of that pit?

Bruce: Years ago when I was traveling the world I set up a network of contacts. A pilot in the area I'd met...

OR

Q: Bruce, how in the world did you get back to Gotham after climbing out of that pit?

Bruce: BECAUSE I'M BATMAN!



Oh, and as a second suggestion, we haven't had an icon fic-prompt in awhile.

Tag in with pups you want prompts for and others will tag back with an icon selection from that pup's journal and a prompt (word, phrase, first sentence, song lyric, etc.). Respond with a fic of any length!
