Question: How does your character come and go? Special door, Apparition, strange wacky magical artifact? For those using Apparition, how does the coordinates thing work?

Tom always goes through the House of Arch painting portal. He can Apparate to and from Millways, but it's easier from London Below.

Hmmm... Bill doesn't know about the House of Arch thingy, at least not yet. And he doesn't have the Apparition coordinates (though he could learn that from someone, I suppose). And I'm assuming that for him to leave through any kind of door, he'd have to go out with someone who can come and go. Which means I've created a huge problem (among many others, I'm realizing) for myself because no other HP charry comes from the same point in time as Bill *headdesk*

But thanks for replying anyway! Now that I have options, it might be easier hee

Tonks comes in through the House of Arch portal, and also through the front door, which for her opens onto Charing Cross Road.

The thing is, at least right now, Bill doesn't know about the House of Arch thingy. And I'm assuming that for him to leave through any kind of door, he'd have to go out with someone who can come and go. Fleur always left through a portkey, but the last time she left, she Apparited, and it left her exhausted for several days.

Hey, portkey! I hadn't thought of that. But I'm not sure it solves my problem with the timeline thing. Because, as far as I know, Bill wouldn't be able to create a portkey himself and no one else comes from the same point in time as him. *whimpers* *headdesk* Why do I do this to myself? hee

Ron uses the ebil door of ebilness, hidden in a closet in GRimmauld place, which is really a dark artifact thingy that the Blacks were going to give Lord Thingy.

Fred and George use a potion they accidentally discovered while developing prankage in the lab in the attic of their shop.

Hmmm... I'd thought before about the possibility of Bill going out through one of those doors with Ginny but that would take him to the point in time when Ginny's 15, and he'd take the risk of meeting his past self. Le sigh. Thanks for replying anyway, I shall have to think on this.

From what point in time has Peter come from? Right after OotP, like most of the HP charrys who aren't dead?

Angie apperates. When she does it she doesn't have a destination in mind. This idea has been Borrowed and altered from one in a fanfic I've read, in which when you apperate with no destination in mind you enter a 'Void' wherein distance has no meaning. Instead of entering this Void, Angie enters Milliways, where time has no meaning. The bar has also picked up the annoying habbit of occasionally hijacking her mid apperation when she doesn't intend to go to the bar, and once when she opened a door as well. There will be plottage emerging from this eventually...

How does she leave the bar though? Does she Apparate back home or use a door or portkey or something?

When she apperates in, she apperates out again and she can go wherever she wants, but when she is hijacked by walking through a door she goes out through the front door which takes her back to wherever she left from. Hope this helps :)
