That thread with Jay and Emcee/Eli is wonderful and hilarious and also a bit ouch -- especially if Emcee later remembers what they said while he was under the influence of Eli.

That kind of thing is always such an instaplot generator -- fun kinds of messy are spun off from IMDb flu every year.

Father Harman caught the IMDb flu from Sunshine, then turned into the musical version of Javert while talking to Bonnie Murdock. Gene HUnt promptly has to arrest them both. Later, he allies with a sea captain (presumably), then reprimanded a very careless young man, and went on to meet the actual Javert, the most sensible person he's ever talked to. Then, he sings 'Stars' and offends the Emcee.

The Adventures of Javert have been amazing.

(His sea-captain ally has been kidnapped by student revolutionaries since then, by the way. If Javert wants to do anything with that knowledge.)

Also, Emcee has no idea what to do with Eric/Lincoln. He's too adorable to process.

No flu season for my pups as I knew I didn't have it in me to give them lots of exposure. Still, Sam Wilson did get introduce a lot of people to Girl Scout cookies. I will be getting back to these threads too, I got sidetracked by a sick kid and then spring cleaning.

In real life, I think I may have helped a bee who was exhausted. Gave her a little sugar water in a drop and she seemed to be drinking from it (I saw tongue action) and now she is gone. Hope, hope hope.

Also, the community garden I belong to may be getting a beehive and will be looking for volunteers to learn about them and help care for them, which means I may become a beekeeper. = ]

Sam's Girl Scout cookie EP is a brilliant idea, and the threads are all lovely. Good job with the bees!

I blame the DE from halfemptyglasses (I think it was them).

Also, for those who might wish to rescue bees in the future, sugar water is a good start but dip a napkin or paper towel in the water and give that to the bee. Insects can drown in drops of water but the napkin will prevent this and also break the surface tension of the water. = ]

I had an in person interview and survived driving on the DC beltway twice and feel like I did a good job at the interview.

I've also given Moist the IMDB flu, he thinks he's John Watson and Charles thinks he's Tom Lefroy from Becoming Jane. Some of my favorite threads so far are Charles and Picard/Bousset, Moist/Watson and Eric/Lincoln, Charles/Tom and Emcee/Eli, they're being sartorially mean to each other.

In non-IMDB flu threads, I'm really enjoying Quentin and Curtis, someday I will watch Snowpiercer, for now he's a great character. Oh and Charles has moved forward in canon, its only going to get more painful from here on out.
