DE: There are many like it but this one is mine
Since we touched on childhoods yesterday, let's continue. Did your character have a favorite toy or possession as a child? Do they still have it or even remember it? Has it evolved into an interest in their present lives?
How about yourself?

Asajj: I can't decide if it was an interesting rock or nice clothing Ky Narec (her jedi master) had bought her. If it was the clothing, I would say it left an impression as she always has great costumes.
Ethan: I want to say a hobby horse, though I can't say why. It still remains in his sense of adventure and wanting to see what's over the horizon.
Hank: I am not sure. It's easy to say a chemistry set, but I feel like he would have had something even before then. Maybe binoculars or a microscope. Definitely something with which to examine the world more closely.
Quinlan: No clue.
Selina: I'm going to say her first dance shoes or a leotard she had as a toddler.
Tybalt: Words and wit. And yes, he still uses them to this day.
The Luidaeg: Error. Does not computer. System restart. (Sea shells maybe?)
Sam Wilson: A fireman's hat I think. THe kind you get from tours of the fire station. He remembers it fondly and in that he had dedicated his life to rescuing people, it definitely still have an effect on his life.
As for me; Any anime with giant robots or kaiju will be an easy watch for me. I blame Godzilla, Ultraman, and Robotech for this. I also love micronauts and wish they weren't so damned expensive. I'd love to own another Baron Karza. And don't even get me started on Star Wars. There's a reason I have three pups from that franchise.

Ellen was very, very attached to the issue of Grognak the Barbarian that her friend Amata gave her for her tenth birthday. Also to the BB gun her father gave her later that same day. Both were left behind in Vault 101, alas; what happened to them after that she does not know.
I am not sure about the others. Me, I have a few Morgan silver dollars my father gave me when I was in third or fourth grade; they're from the late 1800s and both of us were big coin collectors at the time. I don't collect any more, but they were gifts from my dad, so you'd damn well better bet I keep them. As far as toys and other possessions go I had an unfortunate tendency to break things, but there's a Breyer model horse or two among the apartment decorations that I've had for a long, long time now.

Alyx has a necklace her mother made when she was a baby. That and the photo of the Vance family are the only things she has from before the Black Mesa Incident. She never takes off the necklace, even to bathe.

... and sometime around then was when her father started equating "thing she's allowed to be around" with "things she can probably safely take apart." So sometimes her "toys" were things like gramophones or typewriters. Er.
Also I kind of just want these Avatar nesting dolls to exist in the Avatarverse, somehow.
Katara didn't have a lot of time to be a child, and didn't have any toys from childhood that she'd still kept by the time she was 14. At the moment, I'm mostly imagining that she and Sokka enjoyed playing ajagaq (note – link goes to a video).
Will generally doesn't get too attached to physical objects, and when he was a child his father couldn't really afford that much in terms of toys. Most of what he had were things like puzzles or Legos – anything with minimal light/sound stimulation, or that didn't really lend to the same extent to imaginative play, as that was kind of redundant or potentially overstimulating for him. Probably what he most looked forward to getting when they could manage it was a bike, as that allowed him more independence, which he tended to need even pretty early on in order to take on responsibilities his father wasn't dealing with.

Dejah has assembled and reassembled that Enigma Box hundreds, perhaps thousands of times. She fiddles with it when she's thinking, turning it into itself again and again. It is one of her most prized possessions.

Dixie had a rag doll. Still does - it's hidden at the bottom of the drunk.
Juliet's toys are all with her mom in Florida - she had a walkee-talkee she used a lot.
Eponine had a doll once, too, but it got left behind when the inn was taken.
Pinkie had a rock. A very fine rock!
