In the midst of an all-nighter, so I'm stealing this DE! Hope you don't mind, Don. (Gosh, how long's it been since I typed one of these out?)

Anyway. Today, I'm throwing up an old favorite! One we haven't had in quite a while, if memory serves.

IT'S CLOBBERIN' LOVE MEME TIME.

But this time, we're going to make like M. Night and put a twist in it! And that twist is this: you cannot put up an entry for yourself. Instead, you have to put up an entry for at least one other Bar roleplayer you admire, and use that space to extol their virtues to the rest of the Bar.

A GM with the patience of a saint and an encyclopedic knowledge of some of the randomest shit you can think of. Always on hand to shoot the shit and plot, and always up for sending a pup your way if you're hurting for interaction. Undoubtedly one of the crown jewels of the Bar. It's like track three of The Black Album: what more can I say?

ANYWAY I was SO EXCITED to see a Wee Mad Arthur - I remember Detritus so I already knew he was going to rock. Cam's one of my oldest threadmates in the bar, and her brain always makes me happy.

Most certainly not the downer kind! Her characterization is so good I can hear her characters' voices come off the page, and I treasure every thread I've had with her. She kicks ass. Period. End of.

Also I should note that when I finally got around to reading I Shall Wear Midnight I heard every single one of Eskarina Smith's lines in Debi's RL voice, because she played Eska long ago and she was fantastic at it, so of course she ought to be the voice of Time Lord!Eska.

He's a great person to interact with and someone who's driven me to learn a lot in order to make my own pups better. Plus if it weren't for his Connor I'd never have gotten interested in Assassin's Creed IV, which would be a shame because it's full of awesome pirates. So there's that.

Maru is one of the cornerstones of Milliways, I feel. She always seeks out ways to contribute and to grow our game, and her creativity knows no bounds. Her characters' voices are distinct and diverse, and wonderful to read and thread with.

Eric is thoroughly insane and I am not yet convinced he is not really a professor of some kind masquerading as a student bartender for nefarious research purposes of his own, but that just makes his pups more entertaining to see in action.

She's one of the most thoughtful RPers I know, putting a ton of careful work into worldbuilding and characterization both, and she's also a sweetheart and a delight to talk to always. <3

Don's pups always make me wish I could interact with them more; he's great at getting their 'voices' across, and you can tell just looking at his posts and threads that he really cares about their worlds and canons. He's a great guy and his pups are wonderful overall.

I love how she's enthusiastically up for (if not outright spearheading) any wacky hijinks you can throw at her -- but she makes them have emotional fallout and serious purpose too, if the seriousness is there to have. Just, her sense of fun is wonderful and contagious. She's done so much work to make Milliways a better place and keep it a fun game for everybody over the years. And, of course, she's just plain great as a person; I always love talking to her and hanging out with her. She's so entirely awesome.

Aspen has such a strong grasp of character voice, the effects of place and time, and canon worldbuilding. She's always up for anything, and has a good hand on consequences and a willingness to play them out. I love threading with her.

OOCly she is pretty brilliant, too.

Pho/Beth

Mun of Curtis, Gaeta, Olivia, Bolin. Pho is always willing to take on difficult and complex characters and brings them to life in fantastic ways. She's generous and as a fellow librarian, I feel lucky to know her.
