Hello, everyone!

I have just posted Henry Mills for the first time (finally)! Thing is, he’s got a couple extra traits you guys should know about. The post is here.

The short version is that there is some indication in canon Henry can see to the heart of things, or something like a person’s essential role in the story. The deeper explanation is in his journal, but I also decided to let you guys know here. I’ll only let it kick in if and when you want it to, and as a rule only after either a very meaningful conversation or extended interaction. In fact, it might not even wake up until after canon starts, but I wanted to warn for it now.

Also, Paging Marvel Characters: Marvel Comics canonically exists within the world of OUaT, and Henry explicitly reads it. If you have a particular problem with Henry recognizing who your character is, let me know. (At least he can be relied upon to believe stories are real! ^_~)

Am I right to assume that only the comics explicitly exist? Skye has no visual connection to her 616 equivalent so I think he won't know her anyway?

Only the comics do, if I am remembering correctly, and at the least the show almost certainly does not.

He is welcome to recognize X. Other people on her teams are in comics in-universe, so.

Feel free to know Noriko, and he can certainly talk about what she's done in the comics, jut be prepared for her to leave feeling somewhere between VERY ANGRY and 'about to puke'.

I don't know that Sam Wilson looks much like his comics counterpart but I think he's be okay with finding out there's a world where there's a hero in red and white. I would like to qualify this with the possibility that Sam may be freaked out at first.

Scratch all that. I just remembered that Sam has met Rikki and already knows of his more colorful self.

Oh, and my other Marvel movie pup, Hank McCoy. Again, I don't know that he looks much like his comic counterpart, even before his forced second mutation, but I am fine with the name being recognized. Just please don't mention the fur. Dramatic impact and all of that.

Bucky is familiar with the idea of people having read the comics that he's in -- but he thinks of it in the context of the comics that were written to use Steve and friends to support the war effort.

He's not aware of the continuance exactly, although wouldn't be too fussed about it, eventually, due to Steve explaining to him how the Bucky Bears became a marketing thing.

He is not aware of the Earth-616 Brubaker comics (especially as he's MCU with 616-inspired backstory). Thaaaaaat might be a slight problem, given the timing of things currently, but I'm willing to chat if there's a need to go that far into the timeline?

Long story short: recognition is okay, at least some/much of comics association is okay, if Henry would need to recognize Brubaker-era and beyond let's talk first. :)

Thor is completely okay with being recognized, fictionalized, written about, worshipped, etc! If something doesn't match up to reality as he knows it, he'll either assume that the writers took artistic liberties or that Henry's from a different universe or both. No worries so far as he's concerned.

Charles is good with being recognized as due to his telepathy, he's picked that up already and just finds it odd but not bad.

Steve is fine with people recognizing him. There are in-universe comics, so he's used to that.

Carol is fine with being recognized from the comics. She knows she's a fictional character in some other universes, so it's the type of weird she's already okay with.

Probably not the best idea. Maybe Henry doesn't read Ultimates?

Matt doesn't seem to like that very much. Out of costume Henry is okay to recognize him as long as he doesn't mention the fact to Matt.

In costume Henry can know him as part of the tights crowd so long as he doesn't mention the alter ego thing, comics, or the name 'Daredevil'. At least not yet.
