Does your pup have any little fears that plague them? I'm not thinking big fear, like death or abandonment, but little fears, like, say, mice. Something someone else might find amusing. Is their fear reasonable to that character or is just something that has no reason?

Izana, funny enough is scared of the dark, as in lights out dark and not space dark. Space still has stars in it.

Not sure of anyone else but I'll keep an ear open.

Well, since you asked, Dinah has just told me she's scared of spiders.

Not giant monster spiders, those are fine. Just - those bastards who hide in flowers waiting to jump on her.

Ellen's still agoraphobic. She's just better at hiding it, and vastly prefers wearing armor with a helmet because it means she's separated from the giant empty space by her own personal portable Vault.

I'm actually on the fence about whether Izana would be freaked by an actual open sky. The inside of Sidonia is pretty damn huge, big enough to create its own atmospheric conditions, and they do fly in space, but they are not familiar with an actual planet or planetoid with an atmosphere.

In Ellen's case it was a matter of growing up in a very enclosed space with nothing that even approached an outdoor setting. The largest room in Vault 101 was the atrium, and it was only three floors high- even if they were using it for baseball. Ellen spent nineteen years never being more than twenty feet away from the nearest wall.
