Gordon shaves a little and washes his face.
Shephard shaves everything south of the eyebrows and north of the collarbone.
Ellen... washes if she has the resources to do so, and runs her fingers through her hair until it doesn't hurt to run her fingers through her hair, because otherwise her helmet will inevitably lead to her hair trying to felt itself or something.
Fawkes washes if he can and will sometimes scrub down with sand, because supermutant skin is tough enough to stand up to that.
Varric very carefully shaves just enough to leave interesting stubble and makes a point of decent hair care and may very well have specialty combs for making his chest hair more impressive.
Santo shaves virtually everything (seriously, either that or he's one of those people born without the genes for body hair, if Santo vs. the Martian Invasion is anything to go by) and makes sure he's got a properly clean and spiffy mask for the occasion.
Stacker is very careful about maintaining a properly groomed and disciplined appearance.
Edward Kenway makes an attempt at shaving, but dude, he's on a boat nine tenths of the time, c'mon. Also, pirate.
Wee Mad Arthur tends to do most of his grooming as a reaction to falling into disgusting things, honestly.

Ahsoka: General hygiene and not much else I think.
Asajj: Currently shaves her head and likely paints wicked eyeliner wings.
Ethan: You know that boy spends a good deal of time on his hair. Well, as much as he can with the products he has available.
Hank: Doesn't spend much time aside from shaving and maybe a little hair gel to keep his hair out of his face.
Izana: I think they do take care in their appearance. A little hair styling and perhaps even a little make-up. In the future maybe they'll do more.
Luidaeg: It varies and depends on the situation/people. More often than not, she'll just glamour what she needs/wants.
Quinlan: Spends most of his time grooming taking care of his hair and shaving.
Rollo: Now that he is trying to reclaim himself, he baths everyday and trims his hair and beard to keep them neat. They are still kept long.
Sam Wilson: Likely takes the longest of my pups to get ready. Wears scents and always shaves. I can even see him touching up his hair with clippers as the need arises.
Selina: Is very good at keeping clean. She cuts her own hair and always at least has some form of lipstick on. She tends towards a natural look so as to not draw too much male attention at this point. Since Pam gave her nail polish, she's tried to keep her nails in better shape as well.

Expanding on Izana a bit here as they are proving interesting. I think that they do wear some makeup but it is limited to what would bring out their eyes, as they believe that to be their best feature. I doubt cosmetics like foundation exist in this canon humans (with an exception or three) photosynthesize and so I doubt they'd want to put anything on their skin that could interfere with that.

I can see nail polish on special occasions, as well. I think more care is given to their uniform than their appearance.

I need to think on this more since I haven't really watched the show with makeup in mind, so I don't know if they even show it.

Cosette, you know, washes her face and brushes her hair and teeth and so forth, and then does her hair in a moderately complicated updo and puts on layers of clothing and so forth (which the servant or nowadays Marius generally helps button up, I'd think). That's about it? Some primping, to be sure, but she doesn't do makeup or anything.

Enjolras washes his face and hands and probably brushes his teeth and, uh. Maybe runs his fingers through his hair? It's curly; brushing it will make for a dandelion frizzbomb. (He does brush it at night, I'd think, unless he's washing it for whatever reason, but that's a hygiene thing rather than a styling thing.) I don't think they need to shave as dead people at Milliways -- any other Les Mis muns want to weigh in to the contrary? -- but let's be real, just because he shaved in life doesn't mean he actually needed to very often. Sorry, dude. Anyway, yeah, he is a person who likes to be clean and tidy but does zero appearance-based primping.

Thor would do rather more grooming, if he weren't an Asgardian and thus able to roll out of bed looking like he just came from a salon. Uh, he bathes and brushes his hair and so forth, and tidies up his beard to whatever extent it needs, and all that. I'm not sure to what extent servants help out with that. Probably someone else at least does whatever hair braiding he might have that day, and stuff. I have no idea if Asgardians do scented stuff, though probably at least the soap is.

Kazul brushes and polishes her scales every so often (or has her princess do it), and probably sharpens her claws too, but that's not a daily grooming ritual. Each day? I dunno, she's a dragon. She probably breathes a bit of fire to get the sleep-taste out of her mouth and calls it good.

How much time do the anime gods spend selectively bending the laws of physics so that that can happen, now, that's a different question.

Look at it this way, Cathy: he gets that hairdo with ten seconds of brushing it, but on the other hand, he gets that hairdo.

To be honest, this is a question I've given a ridiculous amount of thought to. I know two things about Dejah: 1. She does not like to sit still for things she considers to be a waste of time and 2. She has people. Lots of people. A virtual batallion of servants and assistants. Head canon says she actually has an admin whose sole purpose is to be on hand to take notes while she's in the bath, because yes, that is where all the best ideas live.

That said, movie canon is that she's always well put together, even when she's in the desert traveling by thoat back. I don't believe in the magical cosmetic fairies, so that says she considers looking good to be a Thing. I mean, she had earrings on, for Issus's sake. She even looks good coming out of the gym. (Ninth Ray witchcraft, I tell you.)

So I suppose she actually has a regime. She has special soaps and creams and oils she applies before and after bathing. She has vanity in her rooms, with little pots of kohl and finely ground minerals, and a vase of little brushes to apply them all. She wears perfumes, spices over floral scents, all very subtle. She has a jewelry collection (and still wears the same earrings all the time). That hair alone must take ten minutes of brushing.

A Jeddak must look the part, and it's a part of her armor against the world.

See, I look at points one and two and mentally combine them for a result of Dejah having a specialized set of personal appearance servants and assistants who move with the coordination and speed of a NASCAR pit crew, so that it takes them thirty seconds to get her from 'just got out of bed' to 'ready to meet with the bigwigs now'.

That is producing a wonderful mental image. Something like that Coraline vs the animator gif that's floating around.

That's not too far from the truth, except with the movie canon, it's more thirty seconds from "she hasn't slept yet because she's been working in the lab all night" to "meeting with big wigs".

Eriond: He always makes sure to give Horse a good grooming whenever Horse bothers to want one and it's not spoiling him too much (because Horse likes attention).

(More seriously: when he was less-than-fully-divine, he bathed. He doesn't obey laws of nature now.)

Henry: He bathes. He probably only bathes as often as he does because Regina makes him. Kids.

Tavi: Actually has a high opinion of personal hygiene (due to a stint of punishment latrine cleaning). His men went to the trouble of building him a private bath once when he didn't technically get one according to Legion regs. But other than staying in the bath as long as time permits, mostly he just keeps hair and beard regulation length and doesn't bother thinking about the rest. Truthfully, he does think that far--always clean-shaven before he grew the beard, etc--because if he always looks unaffected by the chaos (without being a dandy like some idiot Senators he could name) it does help troop morale.

Eventually, though, "grooming" will probably be a very good time to get a report from whichever Cursor (originally Fidelias) is on "waiting on the First Lord is cover for being personal gopher" duty. So he might seem to take longer. He's not. He's working.

Lois: She likes long, hot showers, and she has long hair that probably takes some attention, especially if she's doing more than putting it in a pony-tail or just up in something that stays out of her way. Plus she does her make-up every day--it helps with the current Put Together Professional air she's trying to project. That said, she doesn't really spend as much time as you'd think; years of military living taught her how to streamline things/squeeze that sort of thing in on the move. She probably spends the most time out of any of my characters*, but not too long.

She'll definitely spend longer if she's got a hot date.

*Actually she might not; it occurs to me I have no idea how long keeping a beard trimmed takes, and maybe that takes longer than her tossing on just enough make-up to pass. Though if you measure that against needing to shave, because Lois does, maybe she still wins against Tavi? Not sure.

Ragnar needs his braids redone every few weeks, it lasts hours. There's a very nice picture going round on Tumblr.

Bossuet greets each of his remaining hairs by name every morning and exhorts them all as individuals to try their hardest and to make the most of their lives.

...okay no, but he probably did that one time after too many bald jokes got thrown around by his friends.

Chuck either washes with a whole slew of wet wipes or makes the trip to the shower (about twice a week). Other than that, being dead means very little personal grooming needed!

... actually most of my characters are in the "eh, I'm clean" camp, with showers/shaving and not much else.

Quatre takes the most care at it.

Melinda May also manages her eyebrows, has a moisturizing regime, and is the queen of subtle makeup application. (Usually two shades of eyeshadow and some lip color)

Will runs his hand through his hair and sometimes trims his beard if he needs to look particularly neat.

Charles shaves, puts on a light cologne, carefully chooses his suit and makes certain he looks neat, sometimes he takes a shower or bath as well if he has the time.

Quentin brushes his hair, washes his face, makes himself look neat and keeps hoping that someday soon he'll need to shave.

William runs a hand through his hair, splashes some water on his face and like Quentin also hopes that soon he'll need to shave.

Moist brushes his hair, shaves, chooses his outfit, hides all his tricks away, makes certain all the elements of his disguise are in place before going anywhere.

Sameth washes his face, makes sure his hair isn't sticking up too badly and does a little shaving, he doesn't worry too much about how rumpled his clothing is.

Jane washes her face and hands before putting her hair up, making certain her dress is neat and doesn't have anything awful spilled on it and chooses her jewelry.

Ivan shaves with a fancy sci-fi cream after having a shower, puts on his uniform, he focuses a lot on having everything neat.

Demeter washes her face and puts on a clean dress.

Tumnus brushes his fur, makes sure his horns are neat and picks a clean scarf.

Athelstan likes to be clean, even if that means he has to go and wash in an ice-cold fjord. As for his hair, he hasn't settled on what style he likes best for it yet, and won't... like, ever.

Amascut can change her appearance via divine powers and whatnot but she prefers keeping one look -- young adult, female, strong, red haired, red eyed, and with tanned skin of variable darkness (traits omitted or added as applicable to the species she's "dressed up" as) -- and inducing faceblindness in or broadcasting somebody else's problem vibes at people who look her way. She is vain, though she doesn't spend much time deciding what to look like because she already looks perfect.

I almost want to say that Fairy Fixit is a typical absent-minded engineer/squint but look at her outfit. She wears what may look like the drab work clothes of a mechanic, but she's wearing elbow length form fitting work gloves, sleek knee high boots, and that puffy cap-like work helmet omg. And I have mentioned that only she and the Tooth Fairy General (who I headcanon as her sister) wear those extremely poofy pants, right? She cares about her appearance. So... I suppose she spends some time every morning getting her hair and ears and eyes just right.

Evil Chicken preens several times a day. Doing it only once in the morning? Bwhaha, get on my level, says a disembodied high, chickeny voice.

Clementine: A complete ton, and she refuses to go out without her face on.
Dixie: A modicum, but she definitely wears powder and rouge.
Juliet: Jules takes pride in her appearance and she's meticulous if she's working but she's completely comfortable with going the makeupless/baggy jeans route.
Pinkie Pie: How outrageous must her outfit of the day be?
Eponine: Sadly none, especially post-inn loss.
