Howdy, folken! Blazko-mun here, with an exciting announcement!

Does your pup – yes, your pup – want an excuse to kill more Nazis than they can shake a stick at? Have they got an urge to give the ol’ one-two to the Third Reich’s worst? Do they feel like adding to – or starting! – their very own bullet-riddled Stahlhelm collection? Am I exhausting my supply of showman idioms? Yes? Well, you’re in luck!

Relatively soon-ish, I will give B.J a new EP in which I move him a little further along in The Old Blood – which is to say, he will be on the loose in Nazi-infested Castle Wolfenstein after escaping his prison cell and killing his way to the keep entrance. That’s where your pups come in! With their help, B.J will kill his way through the keep and clear the way to his comrade Wesley, A.K.A “Agent One”.

A couple of things before you throw your pup in:

Seeing as how the only good Nazi is a dead one, if your pup has reservations about killing or violence, this might not be the plot for them. However, they are welcome to come along and provide non-combat support! Buff the other party members, as it were.
In the interests of keeping canon events relatively intact (i.e., not having things go too well for the heroes), your pups will be brought in at the keep entrance and be portaled back to Milliways through the door to the operating theater, where Wesley is found in-canon. There will be plenty of Nazi-killing to go around before then, just be aware that it won’t last forever. (Even if B.J would like it to.)
Depending on how many people sign up, I may split you into separate threading groups so that time conflicts are minimized. Figure two or three pups each, with some GMing by me thrown in.

That’s about it for the caveats. So! Headcount time – who would be up for this?

Hotspur has no idea what a Nazi is, but oh boy would he love the chance to do some fighting. ...though how far he'd get with just a sword is, perhaps, questionable.

Swords will indeed be problematic - all the Nazis in Castle Wolfenstein are armed with selective-fire assault rifles, at the very least. B.J will probably insist on giving Hotspur at least cursory firearms training before the plot starts, and if worst comes to worst, will provide him with weapons and ammunition. He simply wouldn't be comfortable letting Hotspur into his world with anything less. Other than that, he's good to go!

Because he's from Shakespeare and Shakespeare gives zero craps about time periods, they reference various slightly anachronistic firearms in his canon-- so he'll be very impressed to see how far that's all come, and definitely down to learn to use them.

Give Nancy a gun and watch her go. She looks small and harmless, but there's one hell of an iron core - in her two episodes of Doctor Who, she fronts up ice cool to a man who's caught her stealing food from his house and blackmails him into letting her have a thorough raid of his cupboards and also giving her a set of wire cutters.

And when she's handcuffed to a table in the company of a turning gasmask zombie, she stays calm enough to sing him to sleep.

And she hates Nazis, because even if she got him back, they bombed her city for years and killed her Jamie. (Or that might have been Jack Harkness, but who's counting.)

Another gun is always welcome! Just a fair warning, considering B.J's upbringing (1920s-1930s Texas) and the fact that he's underestimated Nancy's age by about five years, he'll be all like "miss, are you sure this is something you want to get yourself into?" It's not like he'll be pig-headed about it, though - she could easily convince him of her capabilities.

It's possible he'll insist on securing her some body armor from Bar - a ballistic vest or something of the sort.

That would be okay! Ballistic vests are just sensible precautions.

And suddenly I have the image of 'convincing him of her capabilities' involving her picking up a gun, marching outside to the ranges, and hitting every target dead centre, and then making some brisk comment about surviving on the streets of wartime London with a helpless kid in tow for four years.

Not sure how good Jim would be in a fight with old fashioned projectile weapons. But like all good hearted people, he hates Nazis (and planets with Nazis inspired by real Nazis because Roddenberry). So he could be on support. He's good with tactics.

Support it is! If needed, B.J will provide him with weapons and ammunition.

Shephard's not exactly a bloodthirsty man by nature, but he knows an enemy of the United States when he sees one, even if it's not his United States. If you could use a jarhead whose only functional German vocabulary is of the sort that can't be used in front of nuns or those of a delicate disposition, he's available.

Sariel is not a killing sort of person by nature, though she's been in combat before (and hasn't done too badly for herself.) She's in a similar camp to Kirk, in that like most sane people, Nazis disgust and horrify her. She also counts at least two friends actively involved in the Allied side of that fight, albeit from other universe's, so... yes, she'd be in. She's best as support rather than actual front line combat, unless someone needs to fly out.

How she'd do with old-fashioned projectile weapons isn't certain. Oh, and for the record, she considers Kirk her superior officer - he is. They're from the same universe, if a century apart.

Another one for support! Currently, we've seven (including B.J and Hotspur, hello brain fart) so I am thinking of three groups: B.J. going off on his lonesome (which will be more or less handwaved as he keeps in radio contact, as I think the game covers his exploits plenty), a group with Nancy, Hotspur, and Sariel, and a group with Kirk, X, and Shephard. He'll throw up a notice when it's time - any necessary introductions can be made then.

... I feel kind of wrong saying that this's going to be fun. It'll be fun for me, from the OOC side, anyway. Quite intense both OOC and IC, I'm sure.

Just as a heads up. I know, once the mission details come out, that Sariel's going to ask about other prisoners.

If you would like someone who does not care about bullets, even a lot of them, and has claws and also the capability to use guns -- if she and BJ meet and hit it off, X would totally be up for helping.

I am up for this happening! When it all goes down, he'll throw up a notice on the board, and we can thread out something then.

And now I'm kinda sad I no longer play Ben Grimm.
