So then, I return after conquering a gauntlet of deadlines. I will continue hitting back Matt tags for as long as those who are threading with him like, but first, a request for future plotty type things.

With luck, in the next week or so I will be wrapping up episode 1 and giving Matt another EP. After that he'll be going through #2: Cut Man. If you've seen the episode you'll know that Matt doesn't have a very good time of it and his entrance post-ep. 2 is going to see him in pretty bad shape.

Now the request: Matt is going to need help! He's got Claire on the other side of the door, of course, but since we don't actually see him make it back to her, and since it's always fun when someone stumbles into the Bar half-dead, why not use Milliways, right? Right.

A few things to know before volunteering:
• Matt needs to go through the healing process and have his injuries linger for awhile for reasons, so no full-on surgery or healing. Rough patch job is what he needs. That being said, what needs the rough patching is some relatively serious shit. He's going to have broken ribs, one helluva puncture wound, cuts, bruises, and oh yeah, a collapsed lung. Good times.
• He's proooobably not going to want to take off the mask, so if your pup would insist things could get... interesting. (Which doesn't discount anyone who would, just giving a heads up!)
• He can be taken to the infirmary, or dragged to a room upstairs, just know that he's not going to stick around long after.

Now if anyone wants to help, but doesn't have the necessary knowledge/skills to do so feel free to ping me, too, I'm sure Matt would appreciate a solid body to lean on while getting to where he's going.

Edit: And I think we're set for now. Anyone else still interested just lemme know and if it doesn't work out for this go-round it's Matt, so there will be others.

I would kind of love it if Curtis could meet Matt sometime, so I offer him as a volunteer! He can do some rough, improvised first aid -- probably nothing more complex than splints and ugly-but-functional stitches, though -- and offer a body to lean on.

I would kind of love that, too. Improvised is totally all anyone really needs, anyways, right?

Certainly that's good enough for Matt. Between him and Sam (below) I'd say Matty'll be in good hands.

I kind of feel like this would be something right up Sam's alley, though I don't have his knowledge of field trauma and EMT skills. I'm also wary of my time, tbh.

But my wishful self wonders if Sam and Curtis might be a good team to help Matt. =)

I think they'd be a great team up. I can pencil Sam in for now and if there's a problem when this goes down we'll shoot for another time? (And there will be other times with Matt. Yep).

If running the thread in slowtime in a journal post works better for you I can see about doing that, as well. As said above, this one won't be happening right away, so it leaves time for planning.

Sounds good! If you are thinking this will be an evening thing, I'd be happy to step aside for Curtis and maybe Jay below, since I am pretty sure their muns are usually at play at night and I am spotty at night time, at best.

Excellent. I'm more of a day-tagger myself, and slow times are always love. As I work Matt towards this I'll coordinate with everyone and we'll see what works.

Jay's pretty practiced at field dressing that sort of shit-kicking. And he has plenty of experience with the mask / secret identity issue, it's not going to weird him out much.

Ooo, yes. Another, more experienced, vigilante along to help would be great.
