Weekend Entertainment: Comicon AU

 Since news from Comicon is weighting on my awareness, I present you with a what if? Comicon is now an inter-dimensional com. All the shows and books we see represented there are actually reality TV and there is cross dimensional cross overs between those worlds and ours. This is so normal and accepted, that there is a con to celebrate the various worlds and their heroes/shows.

How does your pup feel about this? Do they participate in the con? Guess speak? DO they do it because they enjoy it or do they do it because of a sense of duty.

Both Curtis and Gaeta have a similar reaction: "You destroyed...my entire civilization...and stuck me in a metal box for multiple years.......for entertainment."

I'm sure there's a big gathering of bitter, angry, post-apocalyptic "reality" stars who spend the whole convention in a bar, plotting ways to burn down everything.

Ahsoka, I believe, would be offended that the Clone War was entertainment. She experienced too much personal pain for her to react otherwise. As a padawan, I think she would participate in the con if ordered to do so, but she would likely have said too many critical things of the whole arrangement and was quickly removed from the stage.

Izana might be a nervous participant, but I'd have to shift things to the gauna being an inter-dimensional threat that her reality is fighting to contain. The first con-goer who felt the need as ask about their biology would get either silence or a punch in the face, depending on the situation.

Luidaeg would not participate and this would be a good thing.

Rollo would eat up the attention, walk the grounds, and hug any willing cosplayers. Stopping to pose for pictures and the like. It'd be the fame he knows he's owed.

If there was a Vikings cast panel, I imagine Athelstan and Ragnar walking out onstage hand in hand to deafeningly loud cheers, while Floki would get booed and he'd just be like, yeah, yeah, whatever, and egg the audience on.

The only reason Amascut would actually speak at a con would be at a panel of post-apocalypse survivors called "Hey! Let's SET SOMETHING ON FIRE!" Though, she might not be accepted as an apocalypse survivor since some of the apocalypses she has survived are apocalypses she helped cause... Hey some are totally not her fault! But otherwise she would avoid it unless she's actually burning the whole thing down.

Fairy Fixit would be into it. She's a total nerd and loves talking shop and talking about TV shows. No hugs, though, because of her size.

Floki and Amascut have to get together and set things on fire some time.

I imagine Tess would be monitoring the con on Big Brother levels while keeping very close tabs on her League. She would also possibly be a sponsor.

I am torn between "Oh god, Twilight should never be exposed to bronies" and "But she might turn them all into oranges and the con would become 5000% better!"

Jay would refuse to do anything official but he would enters a cosplay competition as Red Hood. Just for the fun of it.

And spend the whole weekend heckling Batman and Joker cosplayers. There would be lots of awesome photos afterwards that only the other Bats would recognise as actually being Jason.

Completely unrelated to the topic and your answer, but did you see the BvS trailer? Someone, CBR I think, suggested the Robin suit in there is Jason's!

It would also fit the world weary Bruce they seem to be going for if he lost Jason.

I can see Jay being dragging into (or possibly crashing) the Dawn of Justice panel and someone asking him if he's in the new movie.

Jay grins and the audience member who asked and strolled over to steal Bruce's water. "Maybe, but you can keep the suit. I don't want it back."

Kirk hates the publicity he gets in canon. This would totally not suit him. And I think he would be embarrassed to meet Shatner.

Knox would eat it up.

Cy would go but only if you don't ask him about Teen Titans Go!

Mary thinks it's too crowded, too loud, and undignified.

Carol views participating in panels as a necessary professional obligation, but PR really isn't her strongest area, and she's much more interested in spending her free time trying to meet some folks from a galaxy far, far away.

Stiles is, like, super pumped. Of course he follows con news on the internet every year, but he never thought he'd get to be a guest! He still can't believe that people want to listen to he and Scott talk about their experiences, and his panel with Derek? He's blown away by the packed hall. In between his own panels, he's out wandering the convention floor or going to other panels, because, dude, fanboy heaven.

Cassie would SO be into it. Show up at the panel, receive applause, rate cosplayers on a scale of 1 to 10 - ("10 is me, so nobody gets a 10").

More importantly for MK fandom, she'd show up for the tournaments. As a participant.

Juliet and Shawn would be the biggest dorks and would go in matching costumes.

Clem would try to make money booth babe style, and Dixie would try to get by winning the talent/cosplay contest. Pinkie would be super enthusiastic and probably run a booth. And Eponine would have no idea what was going on but would enjoy the scenery.
